Best regards Splinterlovers 💚

Splinterlands has a wide array of tools created by third-party developers that are a huge help to the community—not only do they offer solutions that allow players to make changes, transfers, purchases, or sales more quickly and efficiently than on the official marketplace, but they also support the overall Splinterlands economy with certain mechanics that the game’s own interface doesn’t offer. Therefore, rather than spreading out usage, these tools actually simplify processes—and that’s why today I want to explain, in very simple terms, one of these platforms that works very well and from which you can derive a lot of benefit.

This platform is “Elmo-Burns,” and in this post I don’t want to explain absolutely everything about it in detail, since I think I’ve already written about it before, However, to refresh the information for new users and to simplify it as much as possible, this time I’ll discuss its most relevant features so you can try it out. That’s right—it has a rewards system that lets you earn money the more you use it, and in the process, you help support the game’s economy, which revolves around the main tokens, SPS and DEC.

So, if you want to know how “Elmo-Burns” works, stick around until the end of this post so you can learn everything about it and understand why, instead of using the official interface, it’s better to use tools like “Elmo-Burns.”

What is Elmo-Burns, and what are its main features?

Elmo-Burns is a third-party platform like any other; in fact, I’ve already talked about many of them before, such as “Peakmonsters” and “MonsterMarket,” since what they do is analyze the game’s economy and also serve as a secondary marketplace for cards and all the items that can be traded in the game, However, something that really stands out to me about this platform is that it’s very transparent about its revenue: it returns the fees it earns from transactions to players in the form of “cashback,” and it also has a “Pool Bonus” in DEC that it distributes to the top spenders over a given period of time.

This means that not only can you recoup a percentage of what you spend in its marketplace, but you can also earn some rewards while doing so. Therefore, this is the ideal scenario every player needs to save money and manage their income and capital related to the Splinterlands ecosystem much more effectively. Furthermore, this is especially helpful for players who have limited resources (capital) to devote to the game—which, in the midst of this bear market, is ideal.

What Are the Main Features?

To help you understand how it works in simple terms, this platform is divided into three main categories that contain all the assets available on the market. These three categories—let’s call them “Cards,” “Items,” and “Lands”—are broken down as follows so you know what you can find there:

  • Detailed Land Market: I would say that the land plot market on this platform works very well, since the listings it offers provide a better view than the game’s official interface. As a result, the filters and the way you search for plots are much easier on Elmo than in the game itself. So, if you’re looking to explore the land market, you should do it here.

  • Prices Displayed in USD: One thing I really like is that, compared to other markets, Elmo displays all prices—for cards, items, and plots—in USD. Of course, the platform itself calculates their value in DEC tokens, but it’s much easier for players and investors to calculate and manage their capital when they know the “USD” cost of any asset. At least for me, this is incredible, and I really appreciate it.

  • Item Tracking: One feature introduced in recent updates over the past few months is items used to craft objectives on the ground. Here, with a fairly intuitive filter, you can access all of this quickly and easily, without any hassle—and the beauty of a platform is that it makes things easy.

NOTE: As I said, these are the three main features—this is what you can do here. The best part is that everything you see on the platform is very intuitive; I mean, anyone who logs in can figure out where to go on the screen to find what they need. On the other hand, even when there are changes to the game’s interface, with all the years I’ve spent in the ecosystem, it can sometimes be tricky to find things. Of course, this isn’t a criticism, but rather an observation—it still works, but there are many more benefits to using “Elmo-Burns” than the official interface.

Why is this platform different?

Third-party platforms often look similar and offer almost the same features, so perhaps there isn’t much difference between using one or the other; however, when you use “Elmo-Burns,” there’s a big difference compared to the rest: its system—or focus on “burning” the ecosystem’s main tokens, in this case SPS—adds significant value to the whole project, and these are things we should definitely support, because ultimately, when an asset is scarce, its value tends to rise—take “Bitcoin” as an example.

But what really sets it apart? I'll explain below:

What Sets Elmo-Burns Apart

  • First of all, this platform stands out for having a “Leaderboard” that tracks the users who burn the most using the SPS. It features a rewards system for those who use it the most, buy and sell the most, and earn DEC from the platform’s own revenue—specifically, the percentage it earns through exchanges—which is known as “Cashback.”

  • In addition to all this, it’s incredibly useful for tracking the entire SPS economy, recording up to 6 million burned SPS, as well as the specific distribution of the entire SPS supply, which gives you a quick and clear overview of the health of Splinterlands’ main governance and reward token.

NOTE: All of this makes “Elmo-Burns” a platform that stands out from the rest and is worth trying out. In fact, I’ve been using it for a while now for certain things, because there are other tools that are better suited for other tasks—and I’ve talked about them in other posts—but if you want to know what it’s all about, leave a comment on this post so I can cover those platforms as well and keep you in the loop.

Conclusion

With all that in mind, I hope this post has provided you with valuable information about this excellent third-party tool that greatly supports the game's entire economic ecosystem. Don't forget—if you have any questions about it, leave a comment, let me know if you've ever used it, or which one you always use.
