A new milestone in the Splinterlands realm: 160K SPS staked

I've started playing again Splinterlands for about a month and I try to do as many battles as again during the Wile season, together with some games in Frontier and also participating in Guild Brawls. Each of this effort translates into gathering more and more Splintershards (SPS) that I intend to always stake. And today I will be doing another power up wish will push me over the 160k SPS staked threshold. This is quite a great achievement on my side considering that I resumed playing not long ago. And as I topped this number, now I am moving with more confidence for my goals of the year which is to reach 200k SPS staked. Not an easy target considering that we are moving fast to the end of the year, but I think that it is one that I should reach if I pull all my resources towards this. I will need to be creative with it, but my efforts will be set on it.

Current SPS balance

The current SPS balance stands at 159,489.130 SPS staked and 1,235.881 SPS liquid. So if I power it up, that should get me over the 160K threshold. Let's do it and see where I finish at.

Topped up SPS balance

After I've topped all the liquid SPS that I had, I ended up with 160,725.011 SPS staked. That's puts me over the threshold and I can mark this goal checked. What is great about staking SPS besides proportional earnings in the battles, is that it offers 7.52% APR fully passive. Even if this is not paid fully in SPS but also voucher, if I was to equivalate everything in SPS that would mean 12,086 SPS per year or 1,007 SPS per month. Thus for the remaining 4 months in the year, I should get around 4,000 SPS just as passive yield.

Getting to 200k SPS staked by the end of the year will not be easy, but I think it is a goal that will challenge me to do my best. If I reach it will be amazing, but if I get close to it would be great. But I am sure that I will do my best for this goal and try to tap into all the revenue channels that Splinterlands offers. And we all know that those are not just a few. I know that some of them also require some good investments, but unfortunately my work situation doesn't look so great and I've stopped on the investments side. That means that everything that I earn would be through my direct activity. So let's see how high I can push that.

I am one of the Splintershards (SPS) utility and I believe it is the true asset that Splinterlands has at its core. A governance token that has influence on the Treasury and other game decisions is the most powerful tool that you can give to a player. That's how I see it and why I put most of my energy towards accumulating more SPS and growing my stake in the game.
