Today I completely upgraded my ZYRX THE EMBERGLACE card again. To be honest, I used this card before, but I didn't understand its real power and where to use it best. Now I took some time to think about it, played it, and what I understood from the experience, I am writing it down here in my own words.

First of all, this card is not an ordinary card at all. It is a Legendary Dragon card, and one of the big advantages of Dragon splinter cards is that they are very flexible. That is, you can use it with other splinters if you want. This flexibility makes ZYRX much more dangerous.

🐉 What is the card really like?
ZYRX THE EMBERGLACE's mana cost is 10, which is quite high. This means that you won't be able to use this card in all matches. Especially in low mana matches, taking it often turns out to be a bad decision.

But when the mana is high, this card really shines.
Its health is good, damage is good, and most importantly—its abilities. As the level increases it gains new abilities one after another. It may seem very simple but when you get to level 3-4 it becomes completely different level card.
What I like most about multi-role nature. It not only deals damage, but can also do smart targeting, survive, and often end the match.
⚔️ Where do I get the best results?
From my own experience, I can say that this card should not be used in all matches. I used to be wrong—I thought Legendary meant that it had to be used in all matches. But it's not.

🔥 High mana matches
When the mana is 30+, using ZYRX is the safest and most effective.
Because then you:
You can take a strong tank
You can take a healer
And put ZYRX safely in the backline
ZYRX works very well in this setup.
🔥 Advantages of Dragon splinter
When playing with Dragon splinter, you can choose another splinter. I use this thing a lot.
For example:
If the enemy is melee heavy → I take water or life
If the enemy is magic heavy → I build an armor or reflect based team
ZYRX fits in all cases. This is a huge advantage.
🧠 How I use it (my strategy)
🎯 1. As a backline finisher
I never put ZYRX in front. It is not a tank.
I usually build a team like this:
Front tank
Secondary tank
Healer / support
ZYRX (last or second last)
What happens if I put it like this?
Enemy attacks my tanks first. ZYRX is safe then. Later when the enemy team gets weak, ZYRX comes and finishes the match with one damage after another.
I have won many matches this way.
🎯 2. Use Blast damage
If ZYRX has a blast-type ability, then it becomes more dangerous.
Reason: One attack → 3 enemy damage
I try to attack in a place where more cards take damage at once by looking at the enemy lineup.
🎯 3. Speed control strategy
Speed is very important.
If I can, then I take cards:
That reduce enemy speed
Or increase my speed
As a result, ZYRX:
Attacks earlier
Misses less
This often changes the outcome of the match.
🛡️ Team combo that has worked well for me
🔥 Dragon + Fire
This combo is very aggressive.
Fire splinter damage heavy. If you combine it with ZYRX, the enemy dies very quickly.
💧 Dragon + Water
This is a bit balanced.
Water splinter:
has heal
tank is good
ZYRX is safe here and deals steady damage.
⚰️ Dragon + Death
This is a bit tactical.
Death splinter weakens the enemy. ZYRX can then finish easily.
🚫 Mistakes I made
❌ Use in low mana matches
Taking 10 mana cards in a low mana match means weakening your team.
❌ Keeping it in front
Once I kept ZYRX in front. Result: → died very quickly
I never keep it in front again after that.
❌ Use without support
If there is no healer or buffer, ZYRX cannot survive for a long time.
❌ Playing without looking at the ruleset
ZYRX does not work well in some rulesets. I used to play without looking, now I always look at the ruleset.
📈 Difference after leveling up
When I maxed it, I really understood the difference.
Damage increases
Ability unlocks
Survivability increases
Where I used to struggle before, now I can easily win.
🏆 How I try to win
I look at enemy history:
What do they use
What patterns do they follow
I don't use ZYRX in every match.
Positioning is very important.
ZYRX = backline
You can't win a match with one card.
Team synergy is needed.
The more I play more I understand.
🧩 Some advanced tricks
🔥 Bait strategy
I sometimes put a weak card in front.
The enemy targets it, and my main card is safe.
🔥 Double damage threat
I put another damage dealer with ZYRX.
The enemy doesn't know who to hit first.
🔥 Anti-magic setup
If the enemy is magic heavy:
armor
reflect
I use.
Strategy change
Where I used to lose before, I can now win many matches.
What I learned is:
It's not enough to just have a strong card
ZYRX THE EMBERGLACE has become an important part of my deck. If I use it correctly, it can turn a match around.
If you practice, understand the ruleset, and keep your team synergy in order—this card will greatly increase your win rate.
