Today's Glid Pack Opening — Some great cards in one pack! 🎴🔥
Today was a little different for me. While playing the game, I suddenly felt like opening a Glid Pack today. Honestly, there is always a different excitement when opening a pack. Because you don't know what is going to come out in the next moment. Will a Common card come out, Rare will come out, or will I suddenly get a good Epic card—this suspense is actually the most fun part of a pack opening.
I got several interesting cards from the pack I opened today. After looking at all the cards, I felt that this opening was not bad at all. In fact, some cards could be quite useful for my deck in the future.
Hugo Strongsword caught my eye first
Among the cards from the pack, Hugo Strongsword caught my eye. The card has 5 mana and its attack, health, and defensive stats are also quite good. Just looking at the picture, you can understand that it is a frontline or strong warrior type character.
For me, the best part about these types of cards is that they are as powerful as they look, and can also play an important role in battle in the right situation. Such a card can be useful especially for taking damage from the front and dealing with the opponent's attacks.
Liza Fox — Rare card
Then I got Liza Fox, which is shown as Rare. The artwork of this 7 mana card is also quite beautiful. I really like the design of the character sitting on a horse.
So I am not judging Liza Fox just by its rarity. I will have to see what kind of strategy it fits best in when building a deck in the future.
Chimney Wallstop — Large card
The pack also includes Chimney Wallstop. As you can see in the picture, it is a pretty powerful card at 10 mana. It has stats like health 8 and attack 3. At first glance, the card seems quite heavyweight.
A card costing 10 mana usually needs to be used with some thought. Because before investing so much mana in battle, you have to make sure that the card is giving enough value in return.
However, if you can put such a big card on the field at the right time, there is definitely an opportunity to create pressure on the opponent.
Katrelba Gobson and Witch of Warwick
I found two more interesting cards—Katrelba Gobson and Witch of Warwick.
Katrelba Gobson's mana cost is 6 and the card shows multiple ability/element icons. I find this type of card interesting because it has the potential to get utility from multiple aspects.
On the other hand, the artwork of Witch of Warwick is quite different. This 5 mana card shows health 2 and attack 1. Looking at the stats, it may not seem very powerful at first, but the real value of a card is not right to judge only by attack or health. Ability and battle situation are very important here.
The cards in the second set are also pretty good
In the next picture, I found Krash Wanderford, Whistling Damon, Isgald Vorst, Ajax Lightfoot, and Alfredo.
Among them, Krash Wanderford's name seemed quite interesting to me, because the same card appears in multiple parts of the pack. The card appears to have 4 mana, 6 health, and defensive/secondary stats like 6.
Whistling Damon is a 3 mana card and is also in the Rare set. Cards that can be used with low mana often help to balance the deck. If you always build your deck with only high-mana cards, you may face problems at the beginning of the battle. So low and mid-mana cards are also quite important.
Isgald Vorst is seen with 5 mana cost and 4 health. The artwork is also quite beautiful and the design of the card is different from the others.
Then there are Ajax Lightfoot and Alfredo—both appear as Rare. I especially like Ajax Lightfoot's card design. It's definitely nice to be added to such a Rare card collection.
And then came the real surprise — Quora Towershead! 🔥
Finally, the card that caught my attention the most is Quora Towershead.
Because it's not just another ordinary card—EPIC is clearly.
When an Epic card comes during a pack opening, the excitement increases a lot. Because you know, you've added a card to your collection that's a step above Rare.
Quora Towershead's artwork is also quite impressive. Great character design, high stats, and Epic rarity—all in all, this card is the biggest find of today's opening for me.
Overall, today's Pack Opening
I got quite a few good cards from today's Glid Pack Opening. Hugo Strongsword, Liza Fox, Chimney Wallstop, Katrelba Gobson, Witch of Warwick, Krash Wanderford, Whistling Damon, Isgald Vorst, Ajax Lightfoot, Alfredo, and the biggest surprise, Quora Towershead—all of which are new additions to the collection.
For me, the fun of opening a pack isn't just about getting good cards. Thinking about how to build a deck with new cards after getting them, which cards can make good combinations with which cards, which ones should be used in which situations—is also a big part of the game.
If I had to choose my favorite card in today's opening, I would definitely put Quora Towershead first. Because there is the excitement of getting Epic rarity, along with the card's stats and overall design are also quite impressive.
However, I will also keep an eye on Hugo Strongsword and Chimney Wallstop separately. And I want to test how Rare cards like Liza Fox, Whistling Damon, Ajax Lightfoot and Alfredo are useful in future deck building.
Finally, I will say one thing—today's Glid Pack Opening was quite satisfying for me. Not all cards may be equally powerful, but the joy of adding new cards to the collection is different. And if an Epic card comes out among them, then the entire pack opening becomes even more memorable.
Now the real fun will begin after entering the battle with these cards. How effective which card is really, which combination works best and how much impact Quora Towershead can actually create—only time will tell.
