Today I leveled up the Deep Delver card – another important upgrade in my Splinterlands journey

Today, I had a great moment playing Splinterlands. Today I finally got the chance level up Deep Delver card that I had been collecting for a long time. The card was already in my collection, but today I collected 14 cards to take it to a stronger level. This upgrade moment was quite a joy for me, because not only did I level up a card, but it also increased my collection power a bit.

its practical importance gradually increases it increases in level. Especially at higher levels, the card’s potential becomes even better due the new ability it gains.

Before today’s upgrade, I had a total of 14 copies of Deep Delver. I brought it to Level 4 by combining these 14 cards. The confirmation shown in the game during the upgrade clearly stated that 14 cards would be combined to create a Level 4 card and there would be 0/15 cards for Level 5. That is, now my next goal is to collect 15 more cards and move towards Level 5.

There was a kind of excitement working within me while upgrading the cards. Especially when it is a Rare card, I try to move forward with a little calculation. I try to gradually improve the cards that are likely to be used regularly in Battle in the future. Deep Delver is also on that list.

The card in my collection was also at Level 2 and today I took it a few steps further to Level 4. So with today's upgrade, I've actually combined many small collections into one powerful card.

For me, the best part of leveling up a card is watching the power of a particular card gradually change. Looking at Deep Delver's stats from Level 1 to Level 8, it's clear that this is not just a normal card. The later levels change in terms of attack, health, and ability. At Level 4, the card gains an additional ability, which is one of the most important things about this upgrade for me.

At Level 4, Deep Delver has an Est. Power of 500 and an Est. PP of around 119.6. This is a big change compared to Level 1. In other words, as the card's level increases, my Collection Power also increases significantly. This is also a good thing for me, since Collection Power is important in Splinterlands.

But Collection Power is not the only thing that matters to me. I want to create cards that will really be useful during Battle. A card can give a lot of power, but if there is no situation to use it in Battle, then its importance is a little less for me. In the case of Deep Delver, I think that there is an opportunity to use it well in Battle with different rules and mana caps.

Deep Delver is not a low mana card at all because it costs 7 mana. So you have to calculate mana when creating a Battle lineup to use it. However, if you get a combination of attack, armor, health and ability in exchange for 7 mana, it can be a good choice in certain situations. Especially when I have enough mana in hand and have the opportunity to use Death Splinter, then I can consider this card.

Another good thing about Deep Delver for me is its attack. That is, its attack power is better than before when used from the front or in a certain position. Since it has a speed of 2, it is not a very fast unit, but if you use it correctly with other Support or Tank cards, its weakness can be overcome to some extent.

The new Ability I got after going to Level 4 is what actually made today's upgrade even more enjoyable for me. In the picture, you can see that a new green Ability has been added next to the previous Ability. Getting a new Ability means not only a change in numbers, but also new possibilities for using the card during Battle. So I think bringing it up to Level 4 was the right decision.

In Splinterlands, a small Ability on a card can often change the outcome of an entire Battle. Depending on what the opponent's lineup is, what the ruleset of the Battle is, how much mana I have, and what other cards I have—an Ability can become much more effective. So I want to try out how Deep Delver's new Ability works in future Battles.

Another thing I liked about today's upgrade is that it can combine 14 cards into one card. At first, if you collect a lot of the same cards, it may seem like there is no special need to keep them in separate places. But when those cards can be combined to create a higher level card, the value of the previous collection is understood anew.

However, one aspect of this is that once a card is combined, it cannot be undone. So before combining, I made sure that this moment was right for me to take Deep Delver to Level 4. Since I wanted to use the card in the future and had plans to increase its level, I finally decided to combine it.

Now my next goal is Level 5. As you can see in the picture, a total of 40 cards are needed to go to Level 5, and another 15 cards will be needed from Level 4 to Level 5. Currently, I have a Level 4 Deep Delver and I will have to collect the same card again for Level 5. It may not be very fast, but I intend to collect it gradually.

I usually prefer to collect a card slowly and then upgrade it at the right time rather than improving it as much as possible in one day. Because in Splinterlands, in addition to collecting cards, there are many other things that require resources. So I think it's better to plan ahead according to my collection.

Today's Level 4 Deep Delver is another important addition to my collection. It may not be my most expensive or most powerful card, but the whole process of collecting it with my own hands, accumulating copies one after another, and finally combining 14 cards to reach Level 4 is special to me.

I think this is where the fun of Splinterlands comes in. Every Battle, every Reward, every Pack Opening, and every new Card Collection slowly builds a larger Collection. Sometimes you get a good card, sometimes you don't get much. Sometimes you get an opportunity to Level Up an existing card. Today is one of those days for me.

Deep Delver is now at Level 4 in my Collection. I want to test it in many more battles ahead. I want to understand what kind of ruleset it performs best in, what tanks it uses to get good results, and how effective the new Ability is—all these things through my own battles.

Finally, I can say that today's Deep Delver Level Up is a small but happy achievement for me. Combining 14 cards to Level 4, getting a new Ability, and increasing Collection Power—all in all, today's upgrade was quite enjoyable. Now the goal is to gradually collect more Deep Delver and one day take it to Level 5.

My journey in Splinterlands is still ongoing. There are many more cards to collect, many cards to Level Up, and new strategies to test in Battle. Today is Level 4 of Deep Delver, and maybe in the future a new story of such an achievement will be created with another card. These small achievements are actually making my Splinterlands journey more enjoyable.
