Today, another great addition to my Splinterlands journey is the Legendary Neutral Unit Mantaroth card. I had my eye on this card for quite some time. Especially after seeing its strong stats, good armor, sufficient health, and various important abilities, I felt that I needed to have this card in my collection. So, I finally decided and bought the Mantaroth card from the market. The moment I bought the card was really happy for me, because I think it can play an important role for me in many future battles.
Mantaroth is a Legendary card and one of its biggest advantages is that it can be used with different types of teams. I have always been interested in Neutral cards in Splinterlands, because they are not limited to a specific Splinter. As a result, it is possible to use Mantaroth in different strategies depending on the battle rules, Mana Cap, and other cards in my hand. This is what made me even more interested in buying the card.

The Mantaroth card that I bought is a high Mana Cost card. Its Mana Cost is 11, so you must think carefully about the combination of the entire team before using it in each battle. Due to the 11 Mana cost, this card will not always be possible to use in battles with a small Mana Cap. But when there is enough Mana, there will be an opportunity to add Mantaroth to the team as a powerful unit. For me, the real fun of Splinterlands is choosing the right card according to the situation instead of using the same card in every battle.

Mantaroth's Attack 3, Speed 2, Armor 4 and Health 11. The most interesting thing for me is its 11 Health and 4 Armor. These are quite important as a Frontline Unit. Because both Armor and Health are needed to handle enemy attacks at the beginning of the battle. Especially if multiple attacks come from the front, good Armor gives a Unit some extra time to survive. And with 11 Health, it is expected that Mantaroth will not be easily out of the battle.

The whole team's combination, Ability, Speed, Heal, Armor, and Battle Rules—everything has to be considered together. The same applies to Mantaroth. If I can create a team where this card can make the most of its power, then it can give quite good results even with 11 Mana.
The card's Abilities aspect also attracted me a lot. As you can see in the picture, Mantaroth gets several important Abilities at high levels. The card's effectiveness increases as the level increases. This is a very important point for me, because I usually like cards that can be used not only in their current state, but also in the future after Level Up. Mantaroth seemed like a long-term investment to me in that regard.

When I decided to buy the card, the Buy Confirmation on the market was showing a total price of 19,015.31 DEC. The decision to buy a Legendary card at such a high DEC cost was certainly not made suddenly. I made the decision after considering the card's use, future potential, and its compatibility with my current collection. When spending DEC in Splinterlands, I try to collect cards that are not only beautiful to look at, but can also be used in real battles. Mantaroth has a good place in that list.
Another thing that made me happy was Mantaroth's Legendary status. Getting or buying a Legendary card always creates a different feeling. Because there is naturally a little more interest in Legendary cards than regular cards. After adding a Legendary card to my collection, it feels like my collection is gradually getting stronger. Especially since I play Splinterlands regularly, collecting good cards is not just a matter of collecting for me, but also a part of creating a future battle strategy.
I also really liked Mantaroth's artwork. The character design of the card is very strong and looks like a warrior ready for battle. Its appearance as a Minotaur is quite different. The Armor, Weapon, and the whole design of the character standing in front of the card give the feeling of a powerful Warrior. Artwork has always been an important thing for me in Splinterlands cards. Because when a card looks interesting, the interest in using it also increases a lot.
Now my main goal is to test Mantaroth under different Battle Rules. Just looking at Card Stats does not give a complete idea about a card. In a real battle, in which position it will perform well, with which type of Support Unit it will be more effective, and against which type of enemy it will work best—all these things need to be understood by playing Battles. So I plan to do several Battles with Mantaroth in the coming days.
I want to use this card especially in battles with sufficient Mana Cap. Because of its 11 Mana Cost, its use in small Mana Battles is limited. But when 25, 30 or more Mana is available, I want to try using Mantaroth in a strong Frontline or important Position. If you get a good support by using its 4 Armor and 11 Health together, it has the potential to survive for a long time.
I also noticed one more thing—the real value of a good card is not only in its current Stats. If I can Level Up it more over time, its Ability and overall power can increase further. The picture shows the strong Stats and multiple Abilities of a high-level Mantaroth. So I intend to Level Up it more in the future if I get the chance. But I will do everything slowly. Because using DEC and other resources correctly is also an important part of the game.
I am really satisfied with my Collection after buying this card. Every new Legendary card opens the door to new possibilities for me. Mantaroth is no exception. I may not use it in every battle, but when the Battle Rule and Mana Cap are appropriate, it can be one of my most important choices. Especially since it is Neutral, having the opportunity to adapt it to different strategies is a big advantage for me.
Finally, I would like to say that the experience of buying Mantaroth was quite enjoyable for me. I added this Legendary card to my Collection by spending 19,015.31 DEC and now I am looking forward to seeing its real performance. It is more important for me to not just buy a new card, but to have the opportunity to test a new strategy. I will play more battles in the future, use Mantaroth in different teams and try to find out in which combination it works best.
While playing Splinterlands, I learned one thing—it is not always possible to win a battle just by having expensive cards, but using the right cards at the right time is the most important thing. I want to follow that principle with Mantaroth as well. I hope that this Legendary Minotaur will strengthen my team in important battles in the future and bring great results. This new addition to my collection by Mantaroth is not just a purchase, but another new chapter in my Splinterlands journey.
