Today I made another purchase in Splinterlands this time I added a new Death Unit my collection called Night Ghoul. I had been looking this card its stats for a while and I really liked its design and overall potential. After considering the card, I finally decided to buy it. According to the screenshot, I purchased one Night Ghoul for 63.90 DEC, and I was really happy to add another card to my collection.

Night Ghoul is a Common Death Unit. I have always enjoyed using Death Splinter cards because many of them can become very useful when they are placed in the right position and used with the right team combination. After checking Night Ghoul's stats, I felt that this card could also give me some new options when creating my battle lineup.

At Level 1, Night Ghoul has 4 Attack, 1 Speed, 4 Armor and 10 Health, with a Mana Cost of 11. The Mana Cost is quite high, but I think the stats make the card interesting. The combination of Armor and Health gives it a reasonable amount of protection, while the Attack allows it to contribute to the battle offensively.
The first thing I noticed was its 10 Health. Having a good amount of Health can be very useful during battles because a unit needs to survive long enough to make an impact. The 4 Armor is also something I like about this card. Depending on the battle rules and the opponent's lineup, that Armor can provide additional protection against attacks.

Of course, I don't think Night Ghoul will be suitable for every single battle. Since it requires 11 Mana, I will probably prefer using it when the battle has enough Mana available. In low-Mana battles, using an 11-Mana unit can make team building more difficult. But in high-Mana battles, I think there can be more opportunities to include it in my lineup.
Another reason I decided to buy this card is its future Level Up potential. Looking at the card information, Night Ghoul becomes stronger as it reaches higher levels. At Level 2, it reaches 5 Attack and 5 Armor. As the card progresses through the levels, its stats continue to improve.
The higher levels are especially interesting to me because Night Ghoul gains another Ability from Level 6. The later levels continue to improve its overall performance, and at Level 10 the card reaches 6 Attack, 3 Speed, 6 Armor and 11 Health. This gives me a reason to collect more copies in the future and gradually work toward upgrading the card.
Whenever I buy a Splinterlands card, I don't only look at its current Level. I also like to check what the card can become after being upgraded. For me, this makes collecting cards more interesting because every new purchase can become part of a longer-term plan. Night Ghoul is another card that I would like to improve over time.
I also think that the position of this card will be very important. A card with good stats can still perform poorly if it is placed in the wrong position. Therefore, I want to test Night Ghoul in different positions and with different Summoners. My goal is to understand where it performs best rather than simply putting it into every lineup.
Another important point shown in the screenshot is that Night Ghoul is playable in Wild and Survival. The game also indicates that a Wild Pass is required for Wild Ranked play. So, when I use this card, I will keep the available game format in mind.
For me, buying cards is not only about trying to make the strongest possible team immediately. I also enjoy slowly building my collection. Every time I purchase a new card, I feel that my collection is becoming more complete. It also gives me more choices when I am creating different lineups for different battle situations.
I really like the artwork of Night Ghoul as well. The character looks powerful and frightening, which fits the Death Splinter theme very well. The overall design caught my attention when I first saw the card, and that was another reason I became interested in adding it to my collection.
Now my next goal is to actually use Night Ghoul in battles and see how it performs. Looking at statistics is useful, but real battle experience is much more important. I want to find out which Summoners work well with it, which positions are most useful and which Rulesets give me the best opportunity to use this card.
I also want to slowly collect more copies of Night Ghoul in the future. If I can gather enough copies, I would like to upgrade it and take advantage of the stronger stats and additional abilities available at higher levels. That will be a long-term goal, but I think it will be enjoyable.
Overall, I am very happy with today's purchase. Spending 63.90 DEC to add Night Ghoul to my collection feels like another small but enjoyable step in my Splinterlands journey. Every new card gives me something different to experiment with, and Night Ghoul has definitely given me another option for my Death Team.
I am looking forward to taking this card into battle and learning how it performs in real situations. Hopefully, with the right Summoner, position and team combination, Night Ghoul will become a useful part of my future lineups. For now, I am simply happy to have this new card in my collection, and I am excited to see what I can achieve with it in my upcoming battles.
