My Gladius Pack Opening Experience
Today I had another experience in Splinterlands. I opened Gladius packs and I was really happy to see the Gladius cards that came out of them. Every time I open a pack there is always an excitement in my mind because I never know which Gladius cards I will receive. Sometimes Gladius cards are common sometimes rare. Sometimes I get Gladius cards that I really wanted to add to my collection. This time I received different Gladius cards, including some rare Gladius cards and overall I am very happy with the opening.
Before opening the Gladius packs I was already excited because I had collected resources to open them. The Gladius case shown in the picture was ready to open and I had three cases available. I clicked to open them one by one. The pack-opening moment is always enjoyable for me because Gladius cards appear one after another and I like checking each Gladius card. When I do not get the most valuable Gladius card I still enjoy the process because every new Gladius card can become useful in future battles.
From the Gladius packs I received interesting Gladius cards. One of the Gladius cards that caught my attention was Witch of Warwick. I received this Gladius card more than once from the Gladius packs. Getting Gladius cards is also useful because I can combine copies later and increase the Gladius card level. For me this is one of the parts of opening Gladius packs. A Gladius card does not have to be new every time to be useful. Duplicate Gladius cards can help me improve Gladius cards that I already have and make them stronger for battles.
I also received Katrelba Gobson, which was another Gladius card from my opening. I like seeing types of Gladius cards because they give me more options when I build my battle lineup. Every battle has rules and different mana limits so having more Gladius cards in the collection can make it easier for me to choose a suitable team.
Another Gladius card I received was Kotriphus Bayne, which is marked as a Rare Gladius card in the screenshot. Seeing the indication made me especially happy. Whenever I get a Rare Gladius card from a pack I feel that the opening was worth it. I know that every Gladius pack opening is based on chance so getting a Rare Gladius card always gives me a feeling of excitement.
I also received Bertrol Gobson and Hugo Strongsword. Hugo Strongsword was another Gladius card that caught my attention because of its appearance and battle statistics. I always like looking at the attack, health, speed, armor and other abilities of a Gladius card after opening it. Even if I do not immediately use a Gladius card I keep it in my collection because there may be a battle where that particular Gladius card becomes very useful.
Another Gladius pack gave me Chimney Wallstop, Isgald Vorst and another copy of Witch of Warwick. Chimney Wallstop is a Gladius card that I will definitely keep an eye on for battles. I also liked seeing Isgald Vorst because adding another Gladius card gives me variety in my collection.
I received Whistling Damon and Captain Katie well. Captain Katie is shown as a Rare Gladius card. This was another nice surprise for me. Whenever I see the label after opening a Gladius pack I feel a little more excited because it makes the pack-opening experience more memorable.
In another Gladius pack opening I received Palidon Rakk, another Witch of Warwick, Helmet Kharafax, Chimney Wallstop and Orella Abadon. Some of these Gladius cards were duplicates. I do not consider duplicate Gladius cards useless. In fact I think duplicate Gladius cards are important because they can eventually help me level up my Gladius cards. A higher-level Gladius card can become more useful in battles especially when the battle rules allow me to use Gladius cards.
What I enjoy most about Gladius cards is that they give the game another dimension. When I receive Gladius cards I do not just look at their pictures. I also think about how I can use Gladius cards in battles. Sometimes a Gladius card that does not look very impressive at first can become extremely useful in the ruleset. This is why I like keeping Gladius cards in my collection instead of focusing only on a few Gladius cards.
This Gladius pack opening also reminded me that patience is very important, in Splinterlands. We cannot decide which Gladius card will come out of a pack. We can only open the Gladius pack. See what luck brings us. Sometimes we get what we want. Sometimes we receive something unexpected.. For me both situations are part of the fun.
I am especially happy because these openings gave me cards that I can use later. Rare cards were a bonus and duplicate cards may help me level up some of my existing cards. I will continue collecting these cards. Hopefully use these cards in different battles.
Overall I really enjoyed opening these Gladius packs. Seeing cards such as Witch of Warwick Katrelba Gobson, Kotriphus Bayne, Bertrol Gobson, Hugo Strongsword Chimney Wallstop, Isgald Vorst Whistling Damon, Captain Katie, Palidon Rakk, Helmet Kharafax and Orella Abadon appear on the screen made the whole experience enjoyable for me.
For me pack opening is not about getting a valuable or rare card. It is also about the excitement of opening something building my collection getting duplicate cards for future upgrades and discovering new possibilities for battles. I am happy, with the cards I received from these Gladius packs. I hope that my next opening will bring even more exciting cards. Until then I will continue playing, collecting, upgrading and enjoying my Splinterlands journey.
