Modern Gold I. A New Achievement, New Dreams
Today is another day for me.
By playing Splinterlands I have gained a lot of experience on my account. There have been matches that I won by working hard and there have also been times when I had to change my plan after losing a few times.. Every time I make my account a little better I feel a kind of happiness. Today’s success is one of those moments.
Today I unlocked the Modern Gold I league. Seeing the message "Modern Gold I Unlocked" on the screen felt really good. To me moving up a league is not a new name or a badge on the screen; it shows the time I spent in the fights I had and the slow work I did to make my cards stronger.
The game becomes more challenging once you get to Gold I. Here winning depends on knowing your opponents’ cards, summoners and team setups. Just having cards is not enough; things like which cards to use in rules, where to place your units and how to use mana are very important. That is why getting to Gold I feels so special to me.
I also really liked the message that told me I unlocked Modern Gold I. It said that I earned the chance to move up to the level by using my strength and my own plans. Reading those words made me feel like I was finally seeing a result from all the work I did over time.
The Joy of Reaching Gold I
To me Splinterlands is more than a card game; it gives me a chance to learn something every day. At first I might have only looked at a card’s Attack, Health or Mana Cost. Now I think about a card’s Abilities, Speed where to put it and how it works with cards.
This change in how I think is important to me because I am always trying to make my card collection stronger. I buy cards I level them up. I try different team setups using cards I get from packs or from rewards. My goal is to build my collection so that I can make specific teams for different battle rules.
Getting to Gold I today reminded me of that goal again.
I was happy to see the Gold I rewards.
My excitement increased when I saw the reward screen after I unlocked the league. Along with some cards the rewards included Energy, Alchemy Potions and Common Scrolls.
Among the rewards I saw cards like Cullborn Revenant, Surgeblade Ironwing Juggernaut, Palimpest Prophet Coralforged, Pixie‑Knife Hurler and Voss. Getting copies of the card is useful for me because I can combine them later to level them up.
The Voss card is especially special because it is a card on the reward screen. Getting a card is always exciting because you do not know what you will get until you open the rewards; the moment you see it's a special moment.
I also got cards like the Pixie‑Knife Hurler. These Rare and Epic cards are slowly making my collection better. Each card has its purpose; some are good under mana limits and others are good for certain battle rules.
Surgeblade
The Coralforged and Surgeblade cards also stood out to me in the rewards. A card like Coralforged could allow for types of battles in the future. Similarly Surgeblade could be helpful for my team.
One thing I really like about Splinterlands is that a card is not always used the way. Its usefulness changes depending on the battle rules mana limits and what the opponent is likely using. So of just putting a new card in my collection I try to find out what kinds of battles it works best for.
That is how I slowly get better at my battles.
Other Rewards
In addition to the cards I also got Energy. So getting Energy from rewards is also helpful for me.
There is also an Alchemy Potion Charge and a Common Scroll. These are not cards. They are still valuable as part of the rewards.
What I like the most is the range of items on a reward screen; the mix of cards Energy and other items makes the whole reward look great.
My Goal
Getting to Modern Gold I is not my goal; I want to get even better from here. Playing in Gold I means I need to pay attention in every match because there will be chances to learn strategies from others.
I want to keep making my cards better—getting ones leveling them up and trying team setups with different Summoners. Summoners are very important to me because the right one can change how the whole team plays.
Sometimes my original plan for a battle does not work. I have to try a way next time.
Overall unlocking Modern Gold I today was another moment in my Splinterlands journey. I know there are fights coming and that winning every match is not possible. Every win, every loss and every new reward gives me a chance to learn something
I am very happy that I reached Gold I today. The reward cards are now in my collection. They give me chances to use them in battles. I am especially excited about getting cards.
This is how I plan to make my Splinterlands account stronger—by getting cards leveling them up and making my battle plans better.
Today’s success reminds me that with progress you can still reach where you want to be. Modern Gold I is another step, on that path. There are fights, rewards and new things waiting for me in the future.
