Today turned out be another day in my Splinterlands journey because I opened a Glid Pack and received several interesting cards. Whenever I open a pack I always feel a little excited and curious about what I'm going get. There is always a surprise waiting inside this time I was also very happy with cards that appeared one after another. I received Rare cards and I feel that these new additions will make my collection more useful and give me more options when creating teams for future battles.
From this Glid Pack I received Cutter Brieze, Chimney Wallstop, Katrella Gobson, Relenor Cleaver, Ajax Lightfoot, Captain Katie, Isgald Vorst, Bertrol Gobson, Liza Fox and Hugo Strongword. Seeing many different cards in one pack was really enjoyable for me. Each card has its design, statistics, abilities and possible uses. Because of that I do not look at these cards as new additions to my collection. I also see them as opportunities to experiment with different battle strategies.
The first card that caught my attention was Cutter Brieze. It has its unique characteristics and I believe that with the right team and the right battle conditions it can become useful. In Splinterlands I have learned that a card does not have to be powerful in every situation to be valuable. Sometimes a card can become extremely useful when the rules, mana limit and team combination are suitable. For that reason I am happy to have Cutter Brieze in my collection.
Another interesting card from this pack is Chimney Wallstop. This card has a Mana Cost but it also has strong statistics that can make it useful in battles where I have enough Mana available. I always enjoy having cards that can provide more power when the battle allows a higher Mana limit. I would like to test Chimney Wallstop in battle situations and understand where it performs best.
Katrella Gobson is another card that made this pack more interesting for me. I like having cards with characteristics because they give me more choices when building a team. Every battle in Splinterlands can be different. Sometimes I need speed sometimes I need attack power and sometimes survival is more important than anything else. Having Katrella Gobson available gives me another option when I am trying to create a lineup for a particular battle.
Relenor Cleaver is also one of the cards that I was happy to receive. Looking at its statistics I feel that it can play a role in certain battles. A card with offensive power and enough health can be very useful because it can attack while also having the ability to remain on the battlefield for a reasonable amount of time. I enjoy experimenting with cards like this because positioning can make a difference in Splinterlands. The same card can perform depending on where I place it and which teammates I choose around it.
Ajax Lightfoot is another addition to my collection. One thing I always consider when collecting cards is their Mana Cost. Not every battle gives me Mana to use expensive cards. Sometimes I have to build a team with a limited amount of Mana. In those situations cards with Mana Costs can become very important. Ajax Lightfoot may give me another option when I need to create a team without spending too much Mana on a single card.
Captain Katie was also part of my Glid Pack opening. I was pleased to see this card. I like its artwork and overall appearance. For me the most interesting part is finding out how useful the card can be during actual battles.I would like to use Captain Katie in combinations and see how it performs.
Isgald Vorst and Bertrol Gobson also added variety to my collection. Having different cards available is important because the battle rules are not always the same. Sometimes there are rules that change the way I need to build my team. Sometimes the Mana Cap is high while at times it is very low. There can also be restrictions on types of cards or abilities. Because of these changes having a larger collection gives me freedom to adjust my strategy.
Liza Fox is another card I received from the pack. I really liked the artwork of this card because it has a style compared with some of the other cards. However like every other card I am interested in more than its appearance. I want to understand its value in battle. I believe the best way to understand a card is to use it in different situations. By trying positions and team combinations I can learn where Liza Fox fits best.
The final card from this opening that I want to mention is Hugo Strongword. The name itself gives me a feeling of strength. I am interested in seeing how useful it can become in my battles. In Splinterlands a strong individual card does not automatically guarantee a victory. The entire team needs to work. Positioning, speed, attack type, abilities and survivability can all influence the result. That is why I want to combine Hugo Strongword with cards and see which combinations work well.
Overall this Glid Pack opening was an enjoyable experience for me. Receiving many cards in one opening made me happy and also increased my excitement for future battles. Every new card gives me another opportunity to try something. Of using the same team repeatedly I can now experiment with new combinations and learn more about the strengths and weaknesses of these cards.
I like to think about where I can use it which cards can work well with it and which battle rules might give it an advantage. Sometimes a card that does not look extremely powerful at first can become very useful when placed in the position and supported by the right teammates.
This Glid Pack has therefore given me more than new cards. It has given me options for building teams and more reasons to experiment with different strategies. I am especially happy to have Rare cards added to my collection. I hope that with practice and experience I will become better at understanding when and where to use each one.
Now my next goal is to take these cards into battle and test them for myself. I want to discover their strengths through gameplay rather than judging them only from their statistics. Every battle can teach me something and I believe that using these newly acquired cards will make my future matches even more interesting.
In all I am very happy, with this Glid Pack opening. The cards I received have made my collection stronger. Have also increased my motivation to continue playing Splinterlands. I am looking forward to experimenting with these cards creating team combinations improving my strategies and hopefully achieving better results in future battles. This pack opening will definitely remain another moment in my Splinterlands journey.
