While playing Splinterlands, I often come across cards that are not only beautiful to look at, but also attract us with their use and potential in the game. Recently, I bought one such card, called Djinn Chwala. The card is not just another collectible card for me; rather, I see it as a powerful tank card that can be used in various battles in the future.

When I first saw this card, both its design and stats caught my eye. Especially its body structure, the weapon in its hand, and the purple design of the entire card are quite attractive. It is an Epic Dragon Unit, and the mana cost of the card is 8. That is, we need to have enough mana to use this card in battle. However, in my opinion, the kind of stats and abilities the card can provide in exchange for the cost of 8 mana is a pretty good trade-off.

I had to spend a total of 177.45 DEC for the card I bought. The most important thing for me when buying card was its usability. It wasn't just the price that was important me. I wanted see how useful the card could be in my battle team in future. That's where Djinn Chwala came in.
Djinn Chwala's stats

Along with its Attack 2 and Speed 2. Its power increases as you level up. In the pictures of the stats that I saw, at level 2, the card has Attack 3, Speed 2, Armor 5 and Health 9.
What I like most is its 5 Armor and 9 Health. This is a pretty good combination for attacking from the front. Especially in battles where enemy melee attackers attack from the front, placing such a card in front can give other cards in the back some time.

A tank card is not just about having high health. Armor is also important. Because sometimes the enemy's attack first hits the armor and as a result, the main health is somewhat protected. Djinn Chwala's 5 Armor seems quite effective for this reason.
The Dodge ability attracted me the most
Another important aspect of Djinn Chwala is its ability. Among the early abilities of the card is a Dodge-like ability. Having Dodge creates an opportunity to avoid the enemy's melee attack. This is a very important thing for me.
Because if a tank in front only tolerates attacks, its health can decrease quickly. But if there is an opportunity to avoid attacks, the situation changes a bit. Sometimes missing an important attack from the enemy can change the outcome of the entire battle.
So in my opinion, the combination of Djinn Chwala's Armor, Health and Dodge makes it more effective. Of course, its effectiveness will depend on the rules of each battle and the cards of the opposing team.
Benefits of increasing the level
Another good aspect of this card is that its power and stats improve as it increases in level. As can be seen in the picture, the card's attack increases as the level increases and more power is added in the subsequent levels.
The potential of the card increases greatly as it progresses from level 1 to level 6. Especially for those who regularly play Splinterlands and want to collect multiple copies to level up the card, this type of Epic card can be a good collection in the long run.
Personally, I think that when buying a card, you should not only look at the stats of the current level. You should also see what kind of changes will come if you upgrade it in the future. In the case of Djinn Chwala, this aspect is quite positive for me.
In what type of battle can it be used?
In my opinion, Djinn Chwala can be best used in battles where a strong tank is needed at the front. Its Armor and Dodge can be useful especially against melee attack-based opponents.
However, it is not right to use the same card in all situations. This is where the real fun of Splinterlands comes in. The rules of each battle change and we have to adjust our team accordingly. So I don't think that I will use it in every match just because I have Djinn Chwala.
Rather, I want to use it where its mana cost and power will match my team well. Djinn Chwala can be more effective if there are good support cards behind it. Because the longer a strong tank survives, the cards behind it will have a chance to attack for a longer period of time.
One thing to remember
An important thing that caught my eye while buying the card. It can be played in Wild and Survival. The image also clearly states that Wild Ranked Play requires a Wild Pass.
So those who are buying the card only to play in the Modern format should check the matter carefully first. For those like me who play towards Wild or Survival or want to play in that format in the future, the card may be relatively more attractive.
Before buying a card, you should definitely look at the format in which it can be used, not just the stats or how it looks.
My personal opinion
Overall, I am quite happy with my decision to buy Djinn Chwala. I find it to be a strong tank due to its 8 Mana Cost, good Armor, Health, and effective abilities. I especially like the design of the card. It is also valuable to me as an Epic Dragon card to keep in my collection.
Even then, a good tank can sometimes change the performance of the entire team.
Djinn Chwala is exactly that kind of card for me. Now my goal will be to use it better in different battles and find out which type of team it performs best with. If I can collect more copies of it and increase the level in the future, I think it will be possible to use its power even better.
Finally buying Djinn Chwala for 177.45 DEC is not just card purchase for me, but a step towards strengthening my Splinterlands collection. Now the real test will be on battlefield—how well this card can perform according to my expectations.
