I bought an important card again – Thaddius Brood

Today I bought a new card for my Splinterlands game again. In fact play well in this game, you dont just need have many cards, you also need understand which cards will be useful in which situations and which cards will give good results if used with which cards. With that thought in mind, I bought the Thaddius Brood card again. As you can see in the picture I had to spend a total 117.29 DEC for the card. The price didn't seem too high me, because I think this card will help strengthen my deck in future battles.

Thaddius Brood is a Rare card from Death Splinter and its Mana Cost is 4. The most interesting thing about this card for me is its power. The main function of the card is not to directly attack the enemy, but to reduce the enemy's Magic power and Health, giving my entire team an advantage. As you can see in the picture, the card has -1 Magic and -1 Health given below. That is, if this card is on the field, it can put pressure on the opponent's Magic attacker and their total Health.

I personally like this type of card a lot. Because dealing more damage is not always the only way to win a battle. Sometimes, reducing the opponent's strength a little is a big reason for winning. Especially when the opponent builds a strong Magic-based team, cards like Thaddius Brood can play a very important role.

The card I bought this time is currently Level 1. The second part of the picture also shows the calculation of the different levels of the card. As the level increases, the required copies of the card increase and at the same time its Estimated Power and Estimated PP also increase. This card can be gradually improved from Level 1 to Level 8. I like this because after buying a card, you can not just leave it, but also make it stronger over time.

My plan is to gradually collect more copies of this card. Instead of spending a lot of money to increase the level at once, I feel more comfortable collecting cards over time. Because different types of wars come at different times in Splinterlands and the rules of each war are not the same. So the more effective cards I have in my deck, the easier it will be to adapt to the situation.

The fact that Thaddius Brood has a Mana Cost of only 4 is also a good thing for me. Many times, the Mana Limit is low in battles. Then it is not possible to use powerful cards with high Mana. In such situations, using a Support card with low Mana can give an advantage to the entire team. So I think that since it has a 4 Mana Cost, this card will have the opportunity to be easily used in various types of battles.

Another important thing for me is that this card can be used in Wild and Survival. This is also clearly visible when buying the picture. That is, it can be useful for me especially in various battles in the Wild Format. In Wild battles, there is an opportunity to use many old and new cards together. So there is more opportunity to create a strong team according to my choice.

When I buy a new card, I do not decide just by looking at the name or appearance of the card. Rather, I consider the card's Mana Cost, Ability, Level increase opportunity, and how well it can be used with my current deck. I thought the same thing about Thaddius Brood. I especially found the ability to reduce Magic Damage quite effective.

From my experience playing Splinterlands, I am gradually realizing one thing—to build a good team, you can't just rely on Attack Damage. Defense, Speed, Health, and various Abilities need to be considered together. In some battles, such a small Ability can change the outcome of the entire Battle. Thaddius Brood is a type of Support card that can bring the battle situation to its favor without directly dealing large Damage.

I have collected various cards before and tried to Level Up them. Every time I buy a new card, I feel like my Battle Collection is getting a little stronger. This time, I felt the same way after buying Thaddius Brood. I am especially happy to be able to collect another copy of the same card. If I can collect more copies in the future, I can gradually take it to a higher level.

Splinterlands is not just a normal Battle Game for me. Here, you have to think a little before each Battle.

Finally, I would like to say that I am happy with my decision to buy this card of Thaddius Brood for 117.29 DEC. It may not be my most expensive card, but its usability for my deck is more important to me. I hope this card can play a good role, especially against low-Mana Battle and Magic-dependent opponents.

My goal now is to gradually collect more copies and level up the card as I get the chance. When I play a few battles with this card in the future, I will understand better how much it can actually help my team. This joy buying new cards is what makes playing Splinterlands even more interesting for me. With each new card added my collection I feel like I am taking my battle strategy one step further.
