Grimbardun Smith is a Rare Neutral Unit
Today I added a new card my collection in Splinterlands game. The card I bought this time is called Grimbardun Smith. I really liked the moment I bought the card, because I have been trying to gradually strengthen my card collection for a long time. So when I saw this card in the market and saw its different levels of stats and abilities, I felt that it was a must-have in my collection. In the end, I decided to buy 1 Grimbardun Smith card and bought the card by spending a total of 1,043.84 DEC.
To me, Splinterlands is not just a simple card game. Each card here has its own characteristics and using the right card at the right time can often change the outcome of a battle. For this reason, before buying a new card, I try to look at the Mana Cost, Health, Armor, Speed, and Ability of the card well. In the case of Grimbardun Smith, I also looked at the different aspects of the card in the same way.
Grimbardun Smith is a Rare Neutral Unit and its Mana Cost is 6. The biggest advantage of Neutral cards for me is that they have the opportunity to be used in many types of battle rules. You don't always have to rely on a specific Splinter. So I thought, in the future, when there will be specific battle rules or when I won't have the opportunity to use my favorite Splinter, then such a Neutral card could be useful.
I also really liked the image of the card. It shows a strong Dwarf warrior here, who has a weapon in his hand and heavy armor on his body. The whole design has a strong warrior feel. Among the cards in Splinterlands, I usually like to keep the cards that I find interesting to look at in my collection. Grimbardun Smith is a pretty good addition to me in that regard.
As you can see in the screenshot, at the first level the card has Health 8 and Armor 1. Speed is also 1. That is, the card's Health is fairly good from the first level. However, the most interesting thing for me is that as the card levels up, its power increases. When I looked at the list of levels, I realized that there is enough opportunity to make this card even stronger in the future.
At the second level, the card has Health 9 and its other aspects gradually improve in the following levels. The card's abilities change further at levels three and four. When it reaches level five, its Health becomes 10 and an additional Ability is added. Then, further improvements are seen at levels six and seven. And when it reaches the highest level eight, the card has Health 10, Armor 3, and multiple Abilities. So, I think it would be better to not only buy this card, but also level it up gradually when you get the chance.
I'm not thinking of taking the card to the maximum level right now. Because taking a card to the maximum level requires many copies and a lot of investment. I usually upgrade the card according to my gameplay and needs. First, I want to try using the card in different battles.
Creating the right strategy is also very important. Many times, it is possible to win with a good strategy using a low-cost or low-level card. Again, even with a strong card, matches can be lost due to wrong position or wrong team combination. So, my main goal after buying Grimbardun Smith will be to understand the practical side of the card well.
The card cost 1,043.84 DEC when buying it. This is not a small investment for me, so naturally I want to use the card well in future matches. However, I did not buy the card just because of its price. To me, the real value of a card is understood only when it is useful in my Battle Strategy. If I can use this card regularly in good situations, then this purchase will seem successful to me.
Another thing I like is that the Estimated Power of the card increases gradually. As you can see in the screenshot, the Estimated Power starts from 20 at the first level and becomes much higher at the highest level. Power also has a different importance in Splinterlands, so this card can also play a role in increasing my Collection Power in the future.
After buying this card, I have added another new option to my collection. Each new card gives me the opportunity to think about new strategies. I want to do the same with Grimbardun Smith. I will use it in a few battles first, and then understand from my own experience how effective the card really is. I don't like to decide whether a card is good or bad just by listening to what others say. My own battle experience is more important to me.
Finally, I would like to say that buying Grimbardun Smith is another enjoyable experience in Splinterlands for me. I am happy add this Rare Neutral card my collection by spending. If I get a chance in the future, I intend to collect more copies it and level it up. But before that I want to use the card in different situations understand its true effectiveness.
Grimbardun Smith is also such a new addition for me. Now I'm looking forward to using the card in Battle and seeing how it performs in my own hands. Hopefully this Dwarf warrior will help my team well in future important matches and will also add value to my collection.
