🦈 DIEMONSHARK — My new purchase is a powerful Water card
When I bought this card, I thought it would be a good addition to my Water Splinter. So after thinking a lot, I finally bought the card. In today's article, I want to share my own experience and some things about the card's various aspects.
When buying a new card in Splinterlands, I don't just look at the current power of the card. I also try to understand how useful the card can be in my battle strategy in the future. Especially, the Mana Cost, Attack, Speed, Armor, Health and Ability of a card are very important to me. In the case of the DIEMONSHARK card, I decided to buy it by considering these factors.
🦈 The moment I bought the DIEMONSHARK card
As you can see in the picture, when I was going to buy the DIEMONSHARK card, its price was 141.55 DEC. The price didn't seem too high to me, especially after looking at the card's stats. So without thinking too much, I decided to buy it.
What I liked most about the card is that it has good Armor and Health from its base level. At Level 1, its Mana Cost is 8. That is, it is not a card for low-Mana Battles, but rather a card to use in Battles with sufficient Mana. But in return, it can provide quite strong Defensive Support.
At Level 1, DIEMONSHARK has Attack 2, Speed 4, Armor 6 and Health 7. In my opinion, these stats are not bad at all for Level 1. Especially since it has 6 Armor and 7 Health, it can act as a good Tank to prevent attacks from the front.
⚔️ DIEMONSHARK's Role in Battle
The most interesting aspect of DIEMONSHARK for me is its Defensive ability. Many times in Battle, we look for a Tank that will not only attack, but also withstand many hits and give time to the cards behind us.
I think DIEMONSHARK can be quite useful in this place.
Since it has 6 Armor, it is possible to block a lot of damage through Armor before the enemy's Physical Attack goes directly to Health. Also, since it has 7 Health, it can survive in Battle for some time even after the Armor runs out.
And I also like that its Speed is 4. If it is a very slow Tank, the enemy's card often attacks first. But since DIEMONSHARK has Speed 4, it can get a chance to attack quickly in at least some Battles.
Of course, not every Battle is the same. The outcome of the entire Battle depends a lot on the Opponent's Summoner, Ruleset, Magic Attack, Melee Attack and other Abilities. So it is not possible to win every Battle if only one card is strong. The real thing is to use the right Strategy at the right time.
📈 Level Up the Card It will be even better
I was also quite interested in seeing the Level Stats of the DIEMONSHARK card.
The best thing is that as you increase the level, additional abilities are added to the card. That is, not only does Attack or Health increase, but the card's usability during Battle also increases.
To me, this is the biggest reason to Level Up a card. A card may seem ordinary at first, but after increasing the level, it can become much more effective due to the new ability it gets.
So if I get the chance in the future, I will try to Level Up DIEMONSHARK further. Of course, it will depend on how many copies I have and what the market price of the card is at that time.
🌊 Use with Water Splinter
Since DIEMONSHARK is a Rare card for Water Splinter, I plan to use it with my Water lineup.
When fighting with Water Splinter, I usually try to create a team with a strong Tank in the front and the cards in the back to support that Tank.
I think DIEMONSHARK can fit well into that type of strategy.
If you put DIEMONSHARK in the front and use Damage Dealer and Support cards in the back, it may be possible to hold off the opponent's attack for a while. And during that time, the cards in the back can deal damage to the enemy team.
However, I think you have to be a little careful when using it against Magic Attack. Because Armor is mainly more effective in preventing Physical Damage. So it is very important to create a lineup by understanding what kind of team the opponent can use.
💰 My opinion on the purchase decision
When I bought DIEMONSHARK for 141.55 DEC, my main intention was not just to collect a new card. I wanted a card that could be useful in my battle strategy in the future.
Looking at the stats of this card, I think it's a pretty good card for me, especially defensively.
If you buy a card and don't use it, you won't get the full benefit of buying it. So now my goal is to try using DIEMONSHARK against different rulesets and different types of opponents.
I will understand which type of battle it works best in, which Summoner it combines well with, and which Support Card it is most effective with—all these things as I battle.
🎮 My next plan
Now that DIEMONSHARK has been added to my collection, my interest in it has increased even more. I want to gradually gain experience in using it.
Not every battle can be won with all the cards. Sometimes we can lose a battle despite having good cards. Sometimes an ordinary team can give extraordinary results due to the right strategy. This is what I like most about Splinterlands.
I want to play the same way with DIEMONSHARK. First, I will use the Level 1 card in different battles. If I think the card is consistently giving good results in my strategy, then I will try to collect more copies and Level Up in the future.
Finally, I would like to say that I am really happy with my collection after buying this new DIEMONSHARK card.And as the level increases, its Stats and Ability have the opportunity to improve further.
I hope that DIEMONSHARK will become an important card for my Water Team in future battles. Now the real test will be on the Battle field. I will gradually understand how well the card actually performs.
