Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge - Tips as to how to Level your Cards
Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge. I am thrilled to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. This week we have a new topic where users are encouraged to write and share their ideas about the Cards combinations and Strategies in the Splinterlands game. I would submit my entry to that here in this post.
Today, we will look at some guides and tutorials on strategizing your team in the game. I will tackle several topics or questions in this post.
Step-by-step instructions for combining cards.
Combining cards in the Splinterlands game is a very easy and simple step to follow and I would showcase that with an example here in this post. First, you must log in and then click on "Items" from the Nav menu.
From the Cards section, you can filter to owned cards so you will see all the cards that you possess in the game. Now, look out for multiple cards where you can combine them to level them up. As seen from the screenshot below, I have 13 Krash Wanderford monster cards so I will select that to combine them.
From the next page, we can see the stats of my current card which is a level 2 approaching level 3 and I hope the combination I would be making can level it up.
To level the card up, you first of all have to select the number of cards you want to combine after which you then click on the (+) plus icon located at the upper right corner and you will have a preview of the combination that is going to happen.
As seen above, my combination will level up my card from level 2 to level 3 with new stats, that is speed increases by 1. You then click on combine and there you go, done.
The benefits of leveling up cards, such as improved stats and abilities.
It is very important to level your cards in the game because it helps in advancing and playing in higher Leagues. It also increases your monster's stats in the game where you can have a higher advantage over your opponent that brings on the same card but with a lower level. You need to keep in mind that as you level your monsters so should you also consider leveling the summoners as well. If your summoner's level is lower than your monster's level, you can't use them at higher levels.
Tips for deciding which cards to prioritize AND Strategies for acquiring extra cards to combine.
For prioritization on which cards to level first, I would say that you should focus more on your favorite Deck or elements. If you are someone who prefers using water Deck monsters, I will advise you to level them first before other decks. If you would like to acquire more cards from the game, the secret is to play more battles and also join a guild where you can earn Merit to earn more cards.
