Holozing | What will be inside of Starter packs

If you are into Holozing, the upcoming gaming project on Hive Chain, then you must be waiting eagerly for the game to launch so that we can experience the first full fledged 3D game on Hive. Just like many of you, I also have grown a massive interest for this game and currently focused into accumulating Zing tokens, as many as possible while waiting for the game to release. But recently, @acidyo posted an “unofficial” post sharing some probable details and rules and thoughts behind them. In the post, he have talked about many things regarding the Starter pack that will contain different types of in-game items and also talked in detail about them and how they will probably work in the actual game. So in this post, I am going to talk about the upcoming starter pack and all the things that it is hiding within in it and about to unfold when the started sale begins very soon. So, without further ado, let us dive right into the world of holozing!

So first of all, the starter sale will be happening very soon so keep your funds loaded and ready. The date has not been announced till now but the official sale post is ready and waiting to be launched as he shared in the post, so let’s just guess we are around 2 weeks away from the sale.

In order to play the game, the players aka healer will need at least 2 things, first you should have a healer NFT and secondly, you should at least have a creature. This starter pack in the upcoming Holozing sale will contain a creature along with other in-game items and will however does not contain a healer. There will be a separate sale for healer in the future after this sale.

As of the initial release version of the game, delegation or renting facility for in-game assets such as creatures and healers will not be available. But on bright side, it will be eventually allowed on later stages in future and potentially can even change the cost of being able to play with a healer licence. However, owning multiple packs or assets in the game will be beneficial because owning assets will be rewarded with Zing tokens to holders and will be called collection rewards. It will go live shortly after the starter sale begins and based how many assets you own in game and of which rarity and type, you will get zing tokens accordingly and will be paid from a limited supply of zing like the delegation rewards being distributed right now. So the more packs you hold or open, the better zing you will be getting from them daily, so be prepared. Also, more zing tokens will be given out to owners who open their packs and less zings for those who keeps their unopened.

In this upcoming starter sale, users can buy starter packs, each of which will contain many in-game items. He has also shared the name list which is planned currently to be included in starter packs, but not final of course and below is the list.

• Starter Creature
• Healing gloves
• Capture Device
• Capture Ammo
• Backpack
• Mount
• Empty Alpha Cards
• Potions & Elixirs
• Food & Water

First of all, most of these in-game items will be craftable in the economy by players in the future, which means that if you really want, you can avoid the starter pack buying and can still play the game later. But in true terms, these will be very limited to the alpha packs while giving players the attractive chance to start playing effectively and of course instantly.

A capture device will be like a Gun in the holozing world that will be used shoot laser beam to creatures and try to catch them. It will require laser ammo and each laser will be used in each capture event. Guns will have have different rarities and will possess a stat called Luck. More luck means more chance to capture a creature. The ammo will have its own rarity and luck and both gun and ammo if done mix and match the ammo with gun device then the Luck can increase.

In the capture device, the player has to insert an empty card before shooting a creature to actually catch him in that card. There will be empty alpha cards included in the starter pack and will also have a very unique in looks which will not be similar to other items even in the future. So as you can see, starter packs may witness to contain more and better things than all the future upcoming booster packs.

Healing Gloves will come in different rarities offering varying stats and they can be re-used by other healers in your on the same account.

There will be potions and elixirs as well in the game and the players will be able to use them in and off-battle, where the potions will give more mana to a healer while the elixir will give temporary boost of stats for a limited time. There will also be food and water for both healers and creatures. The water item will help healers to regenerate mana faster when resting while the food item will help to regenerate healing ability points for the next day.
