Exploring Zing Token Distribution and Delegation Rewards in Holozing

Web 3 is growing and gaming is one of the segments that is getting more attention from people because it is not traditional gaming. With traditional gaming, entertainment is the only outcome because assets do not carry any value however with blockchain gaming things are different because it is not free to play and this is why we get the opportunity to invest in different assets and also to earn through the in-game mechanism. The game I'm talking about today is the upcoming game on the Hive and it is called HoloZing.

The game is not available for play but the token distribution has started already and it's been over two months. We can earn the game token through different ways and as of now there are four options available through which we can earn the token and this token is called Zing. I have enabled all these four options and this is helping me to earn a good number of tokens every day however I have noticed that my reward is higher on the delegation side. I mean to say whatever HP I have delegated to the account is paying me more tokens every day.

HP Delegation APR

I started my HP delegation to the project even when the distribution was not started because I did not want to miss any opportunity and I'm very happy that I did it at the right time. When the distribution was started for delegation rewards that time the APR was quite high but it continued to drop which is obvious because when more people join then the APR is expected to drop.

Now have a look at the village snapshot where I am delegating 5K HP and the current APR is over 35%. This APR also dropped below 30% and it also stayed there for about 28% range for some time. I don't know what has happened here but currently, it is more than 35% which I think is very good because the traditional APR that we earn through HP is between eight to 10%. Even if I consider 10% which seems to be on the higher side then also we can earn 3.5 times more than what we earn with traditional curation rewards. It's obvious that with the Holozing delegation, we can earn much more and that is an opportunity that we should not be missing out on.

My Delegation Reward

Now here I'm also sharing the reward that I'm about to claim and you will notice that I get more tokens in the box for the delegation reward. I already mentioned that there are four ways through weekend reward and this includes staking, delegation, POSH and liquidity pool. The reward from the liquidity pool is distributed separately in liquid tokens hence it is not visible here but these three types of rewards are visible whereas you can see that the token count is quite good in the delegation rewards box.

In my opinion, it is a wise choice to delegate more HP and more tokens and if the token value appreciates over time then it can be an even better deal but again it's not financial advice.

My Zing Holding

This is what I hold in my game account as of now and the current holding is over 32K Zing tokens. I have already discussed in previous posts that I am changing a goal of 100K ZING and will be trying to achieve this goal this year as soon as possible.

I expect that the use case of this token is going to be significant in the game once it is launched. We have very limited information about the game and I hope that in the coming days, the team will be sharing more updates about it as they are planning for this first sale of the game soon. It is also anticipated that the game will be launched in this quarter most probably and if not for any reason then the second quarter of this year is certainly the time when we will have this game available for play.

Zing Token Utility

It's a play to earn a game and based on my experience I can say that the token utility plays an important role in any game. I'm not sure what sort of token utility we are going to have in the game but I believe that this is going to be significant which will create the demand for the token and whoever is holding more will be benefited. If there is an option where we can rent out the token for other players then just imagine the demand and how it is going to impact the price in the market. I was not able to be part of the splinterlands game since the beginning but I do not want to lose this opportunity now. I play a couple of games on the blockchain but Splinterland is the biggest one and I hope that after this holo gene will be another bigger game in my gaming portfolio.

Gaming is so much fun and I enjoy doing it. Since I play a couple of games on hype already hence I hope the addition of holozing will make my overall gaming experience even better and rewarding. This is the time when I can utilise this opportunity to build my decent token holding in the game with the hope that things will be more valuable later and if not then also they will be good use cases of the token in the game.
