Evening photography in the silence of the forest A small evening diary
After today tiring office duty, I felt like getting a little closer to nature would wash away all my fatigue.I live in Shah Alam, Selangor—there are some places around this city where natural green shade still remains. I headed towards that place around five in the afternoon, when the sun was starting fade a little.
I walked along a small paved road, a quiet environment surrounded by trees on the side the road. There was a great coolness in the air, and the sounds of birds were creating a kind music. I had my phone, OPPO A95, ready take some pictures. The forest was not exactly the dense forest we understand—but this place was home to a considerable amount plants and insects.
Suddenly, a small insect came into view, sitting still on leaf. It looked like kind cricket grasshopper, with very long wings legs. The colors the leaves and the insect blended together beautifully—it was like a perfect picture of nature. I didn't delay in capturing the moment. I was able to focus perfectly using the micro lens mode of my phone.
This picture became very significant to me. A small insect, which we often neglect or don't see, became a symbol of the immense beauty and wonder nature. We are so busy chasing after big things every day, yet realize the true happiness that lies in these small moments.
This experience has made me grateful for nature anew. The silence the forest, the light melting through the leaves, and the lifestyle these tiny insects tell us that nature is never boring. We need to take some time to look at it. Even a simple smartphone camera is enough, if you have love in your eyes.
It is a blessing to be able to get so close nature even from a city like Shah Alam. The moment I took this picture today was not just a photograph, it was like a private conversation with nature. And moments like this give us inner peace at the end the day.
This experience may not be a big one, but the small joys life eventually become big.
