Red flowers in a basket 🧺 | Needlework monday

Hello guys. I'm back in this community after a week and this is my post for the Needlework Monday contest. Hope you are all doing well. The new week has started with light sunshine. Some of you guys may know that last Monday I embroidered some blue and small flowers which were quite time consuming as they were small but the sophistication of them was very much appreciated by you people and I got a lot of encouragement. Today I have embroidered a basket with a vine of red flowers. I used brown thread to make the basket and red thread to make the flowers. Used yellow for the inner part of the flowers and green thread to make the leaves. I hope you will like this embroidery of mine. Let's start with the procedure.

Procedure

Today I woke up in the morning and after breakfast I sat down to do my academy homework and I tried to complete it as soon as possible because I knew today is monday and I had to make some embroidery for Needlework Monday. After finishing the work I gathered all the things to make the sketch because I had already decided that I would design the flowers in a basket. But I didn't know what kind of basket I would make.

First I started sketching the basket so that later I could figure out how to design the flowers. Finally I made a good sketch and I am happy for this good sketch. I didn't have much trouble making this sketch and after getting a good sketch now I started embroidering it. First I put the red thread in the needle and started embroidering the flowers. You can see my previous embroideries that I use only two types of stitches to make flower petals, one of which is this. I find this stitch quite easy so I finished the flowers embroidery quickly.

After finishing embroidering flowers I started embroidering the basket with brown thread and embroidering the upper part of the basket was quite satisfying. I tried my best to make it beautiful and neat so that it looks attractive. Now I started embroidering leaves with green thread. I also apply the same stitch to make the leaves which I applied for the flower petals.

After embroidering the leaves, I noticed that the green, red and brown colors all look quite attractive. Finally I embroidered the inside of the flowers with yellow thread and this stitch is my favourite. I completed this embroidery in about an hour. Hope you like this embroidery.
