Coffee Trading Morning

(edited)

Sometimes it's hard for me to leave the comfort of my home, especially with the heat and sun that dominates the epicenter of the Caribbean. However, I needed to update some laptop applications, and with the government-imposed limit on mobile data, the solution was public Wi-Fi.

But of course, I wasn't going to just sit in any park and take risks. I decided to go to the Casa Granda Hotel, but public Wi-Fi wasn't available there, and the connectivity was poor. After I finished the flan I ordered, which was actually a pudding (deceptive marketing at its finest), I headed to Chess Park. It's nearby, just a few blocks away.

Here, I sat down a little more calmly to work and update everything I could while the laptop battery lasted, since there's nowhere to plug it in.

So, with a coffee and some trading, I greet you all.

Happy Photography Day to the photographer

Greetings on International Humanitarian Day.

Happy Orangutan Day.

I miss the days when I could just take my laptop to a coffee shop and work there...
