Before you read to very last word of this post, I'd like to add that this is all just like a writing from a moment in my life that I can't say in words by mouth. I'm coming back to this post later to teach myself that it is fine to have changing beliefs so long I'm growing to become better.
What happened was, I had a bit of a writer's block and I asked Gemini to give me prompts that will put me in a reflective mood, what I wasn't expecting was that I'll actually be given just the exact kind of prompts. There were more than 10 given but two hit differently and I chose them.
āThink of something you used to believe strongly five years ago that you no longer believe today. What changed your mind?

As much as I want to deny it, I can't help but realize that a lot has changed about the way I think now unlike how I use to think five years ago. A wise man once said "Five years from now, you'll be a different person but the question is, who will you be?" It was just yesterday I realized just how much my beliefs have changed and the little regrets that came in wishing I had understood better long before I did. So "what is this belief?"
I used to believe that being rich comes being born rich or from hard work. I didn't see how wealth can be built by small actions, discipline and being prepared for when the wealth actually comes. I failed to actually learn about money and how it works. That belief made me live a life that wasn't well guided, little to no discipline and I only did a few management that saved me from actually going broke. This belief changed when I watched people who had the same belief change.
āIf you could go back to when you started writing, what one piece of advice would you give yourself to make the journey smoother?
Because of my wrong belief at first, I really wish I could tell my past self just how wrong that belief was so I could start being disciplined and prepare better on how to build wealth for myself. So that brings me to the first piece of advice... I would tell my past self to read books more. Read any book that will open my eyes to wisdom of the people who have been there so I'll build early. It is one habit I failed to diversify on until my realization weeks ago, the few I've read have been mind blowing for me, it's preparing me too.
I'll look back to this post later on and testify of just how much more have changed since I focused on reading and improving my beliefs.

Being prepared for when the wealth actually comes is one thing man peope fail at, and it haunts them after either misusing the opportunity or not even using it at all...
We all have our regrets, but then life goes on. Think about the future and the new opportunities that will come our way.
So true, I've witness so many and I'm one of them even though the opportunities may had been little.
That's what I plan to do, it's a game changer that I know a better belief now.
Thanks for stopping by, boss.
excelente post. Tienes mucha razon en que leer nos abre los ojos a la sabiduria de otros que ya pasaron por ahi, es un habito que todos deberiamos tener desde temprano para no cometer los mismos errores.. un saludo
Excellent post. You are very right that reading opens our eyes to the wisdom of others who have already been there; it's a habit we should all have from an early age to avoid making the same mistakes. Regards
Yeah, I learned that recently and I'm living it already.
Honestly, we all have our regrets but we still keep moving by using that our regrets as a lesson and make sure not to repeat it again. Because if we are still stuck with our regrets we can never move on or grow.
You're right dear, I'm unlearning and learning. It's a beautiful journey for me.
Funny enough, a great amount of the hard workers are still broke.
