Hive Power Up Day - March 1st 2026: Recalibrate And Get Back The Focus

Hi all, it is the 1st of March 2026 and with everyone first day of the month, and because it it is Hive Power Up Day! February is so short and it really past us by so quickly. And being a super short month, I actually experience a major burn out due to my work and also my side work to a point I didn't even have the energy to work on a post on a number of days of the month, slowing down my progress to my yearly hive goals.

I have participated in Hive Power Up Day since October 2022, the journey since then had been nothing less than awesome. I still remembered how I started with 315HP back then when I first participated in this Power Up initiative. From that month on, on every month running, I would try my best to take part and show my support to the blockchain. Hive is a very unique block chain made up of various communities and interest groups. This blockchain is filled with massive amount of knowledge and expertise which is made available to the community and also for public to learn more about each others hobbies, expertise and also celebrate togetherness in sharing music, games and all things in life. There is just so many content available in the community, making the blockchain a place of cultural and knowledge exchange.

Hive Power Up Day occurs on the first day of each month where the community come together to stake their Hive to become Hive Power. Through this, our account gets powered up!

By powering up our account, what does it bring?

• Increase our influence in the block chain, in terms of voting power on content, witnesses and proposals
• With a much higher Hive Power, we get more curation rewards and improve our earnings.
• Passive earning of 3% per annum

Hive Power Up Month February 2026

My growth in HP in the the month of February for 2026 manage to gathered me only 680 HP. This is certainly not a good month for me in terms of growth and I will need to really step on it and further improve my HP growth.

There were so many days that I just crashed onto my living room sofa upon reaching home and only waking up the next day morning. This is certainly not a good sign and potentially telling me that I am working a little too hard and not getting enough rest for myself.

While we celebrated the Chinese New Year, that was the source of my busyness. There were so many events happening which involved dinners and all sorts of celebrations. Exciting and activity filled for sure but I will need to readjust myself and get myself back on track.

Concluding
It is always a pleasure to be able to participate in Hive Power Up Day and continue to show my support to allow me to grow to where I am today.

I am still working in the background to enable some form of passive earning to fund the next Hive Power Day, it might not be able to fund sufficiently right now for even 1 Hive per month, but with consistency I am putting in to build up of what I am doing, I am certain one day it will be able to fund the base requirement for the power up day! Right now while everything is still rather low in terms of passive hive gains, some parts of the power up is from the passive while the bulk still came from sources such as comment rewarder, liquid hive selling layer 2 token etc. No matter how, I will continue to improve my passive liquid hive generation so that I can have enough to power up every month. The method is changing a little with dCity coming to a close and implosion of some other income generating coins.
