The play of light and shadow on the quiet path of a sick night.

My body has not been doing well at all for the past few days. I have been suffering from a persistent fever, due to which my normal activities have also been disrupted. After this evening, I was forced to go to the market to collect some necessary medicines. Despite my physical fatigue and illness, the night atmosphere around me filled my mind with a strange feeling of love.

On the way back home from the market, my eyes were caught by this quiet and serene atmosphere of the night. The street lights on the roadside, the dim lights of the shops, and the headlights of the vehicles created a wonderful light and shadow fair around me. Even in the midst of my illness, my inner passion for taking pictures reawakened. I took my phone out of my pocket and tried to frame those moments.

In the pictures, I mainly tried to portray the contrast between darkness and artificial light, that is, the play of light and shadow. The busyness of the roadside banana or potato shops, the rickshaws and easy bikes standing on the quiet streets, and the light of their red-yellow headlights reflecting on the wet, muddy road, created a different canvas for the whole scene.

Even though my body is sick, these small moments refresh my mind. I enjoyed the experience of taking the pictures. I tried to present the normal scene of an ordinary night differently through the camera lens. I hope you all will like these shadowy pictures I took. Everyone please pray for my speedy recovery.
