ECENCY NEWEST UPGRADE: A GLITCH OR A LEGIT UPGRADE ???…

I woke up to something surprising and unexpected this morning. I smell greatness in the air, the ecency team are up to something new. They are bringing us something unexpected and unique, and I think it’s happening soon. Happening soon shouldn’t be the right words to use because it has started happening already, and that is because I’m starting to see some little changes and upgrades here and there since i came online this morning….

The ECENCY TEAM has done it again, just some months ago i was made to witness some new and advanced updates regarding the ecency features, some new updates were made and some were improved to make the navigation of the front end easier, faster and mostly more efficient and responsive…

I have been using the ECENCY front-end for a very long time, it has been my all-time favorite front-end for many reasons, one of the reasons was the ecency points we get for every of the activities performed on the web, another reason was the boosting of our posts and that of others manually, these were some of the benefits we were enjoying, until the latter was taken down for good reasons, which we later understood as we moved forward…

I have been trying to figure out a lot of things about the front-end since i saw it, at first i thought it was a glitch or something. One of the things many people don’t know about me is the fact that I observe the littlest of things, especially when its about something I enjoy and love as a person, i guess this was why i was able to notice the news change in the ecency front-end…

I was about running into the neoxian city to alert my friends about the latest developments on the ecency web and just as i was about to get into that, I pulled back a little bit and decided to do some more diggings for more confirmation…

I have navigated the whole ecency web front-end and my deduction from the whole scout is that there has been some significant improvement on the front-end. A lot of things has changed since the last 24 hours, I know this because that wasn’t the way I left the front-end yesterday, so I’m guessing everything changed overnight…

My first observation this morning was the boldness of the community where several hive users post, I didn’t actually take that seriously until I decided to check my notifications. I decided to check my notifications the normal way and then I realized something had changed, and that was because i still used the front-end yesterday. Ecency notifications on a normal day are meant to take half of the screen before, be it on PC or mobile phone, it always appears on the right side of the screen, but today the notifications has taken the whole screen, it is now more bold and visible, the change is quite an obvious one, I believe every ecency lover should be able to observe that much change…

Another change I noticed was the post reward, the ecency front end and every other decentralized applications out there have always been known to show just 3 significant figures and 2 decimal places in terms of post rewards, before today post rewards on the ecency front-end has always been in 2 decimals places, something like 1.20$, 2.45$, 7.55$, 10.67$ and so on, but now it’s now in 3 decimal places. We now have post rewards in 3 decimal places, something like 1.234$, 4.567$, 10.789$ and so on. This is another change I’ve observed in the last couple of hours…

I have also seen how different my profile displays, the fact is that there’s something different about it, there has been some sort of update on it and it’s quite obvious, especially to an ecency lover like me…

Lastly, I noticed something interesting again, the tags used in every of my posts have been updated, I think it has been made quite bold, which is different from how it was yesterday. I think I like how it is now, compared to yesterday…

These are my latest observations on the ecency front-end so far, all within 24 hours. I love what I’ve seen so far and there’s no need to deny that fact. I love the upgrade but I think the changes aren’t stable yet, the front-end is quite glitchy and it seems to be acting up in various ways…

It is impossible to scroll up and down the notification page, the site isn’t responding actively, it’s not hundred percent accurate, unlike yesterday when it was actively working…

Drafting posts seems to be quite difficult right now, I have been having issues finding my way on the ecency draft page, it wasn’t like this yesterday. I guess the team need to look more into what is causing these issues…

In summary, apart from these slight issues s far, every other thing has been beautifully put in place, which means i love what I’m seeing…

In conclusion, kudos to the ecency team for their effort and dedication towards making the ecency front-end more user friendly and easily accessible. A big shoutout to @melinda010100, @bhattg and every other members of the ecency team, your work and efforts are truly appreciated…
