Hanging Out With @AlessandraWhite .:. Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.46 (Wednesday, July 16th, 5 PM UTC)

I don't know how this happens, but every time I have to do the announcement post for the #HHHLive show, I'm doing it in the last hours of Tuesday! Believe me or not, I began preparations this morning, but many other things happened that delayed its publishing... Anyways, we are here, and hopefully, tomorrow we will have another great show as we will have another special guest!!

Before anything, I just want to share my process of inviting guests to this show... You have probably noticed that many of the previous guests that we have weren't "big Hive sharks", but rather those workerbees working in the background, for the benefit of everyone... The point of inviting them is to show how we appreciate what people are doing for (and on) HIVE! To give them more spotlight as they deserve it!

One of those people is @AlessandraWhite! The same as writing this post, I wanted to invite her to the show a long time ago, but always something came up and we didn't make it... Well, it will finally happen in a few hours, and you don't want to miss it! 🙂

A bit of common history... I heard @AlessandraWhite for the first time at one of the announcement shows for the Hive Fest in Mexico, which was held on X, if I remember well... She was introduced by @shadowspub and was one of the people who were interviewing organizers... After that, we met in life at the @BuzzParty meetup in Hamburg last year... I had my first "big" presentation in front of Hivians and I was nervous that day very badly... lol... She noticed that before the presentation and told me a small trick on how to do it... She said something like this:

"Look at me while you are doing the presentation, and ignore the rest... You will be fine..."

And I did that... And the presentation went very well... I did skip 50% of what I wanted to say, but I added the other 50%... or more... We had the longest Q&A session after my presentation, and it was great to see people engaged! Thanks to you, Alessandra! The rest is history... 😃

We have "closed" the Hamburg meetup by hanging out in the bar until the late hours, with a small group of 5 Hivians... After that meetup, we met again at HiveFest, Split, where we ran out of time and didn't have too much time for a talk... Early this year, we met again at #BuzzParty, Graz to fix that... From that moment, I was trying to find the way to bring her to the show... 😃

So, what would be the #HHHLive show about?

You know how it goes in the #HHHLive shows... We like to make our guests feel like they are in their own home, so we will talk about Alessandra's initiatives and projects on HIVE, and off-HIVE... I know that many people don't know about the Creative Work Hour, for example, which is a fantastic project that she has run for over 4 years!! Just 2 weeks ago, they had a big 4th anniversary party!

Also, I would like to talk about music on HIVE... As a big fan of Rising Star game, I met some of the musicians that we have here on HIVE, and Alessandra is one of them too... I didn't know that until recently! Not sure if she kept that as a secret on purpose, or I didn't listen before... We will ask her... 😃

As I had an interesting talk with her regarding ups and downs that Hivians can experience on the platform, it could be an interesting topic to share with others... When people are talking about HIVE, you mostly hear stories about the token price, about the HivePower, staking, HBD savings, and all the other technicalities... Very rarely you can hear about struggles that Hivians (can) have... Feelings of not being appreciated, or undervalued, or ignored by others... I hope we will touch those topics too and help others who have their doubts and uncertainties... It's important to talk about it, even if it can be painful...

Of course, you will have time to ask questions to our guest in the second part of the show... So, don't hesitate to ask!!!

How was the last show? 2 weeks ago, we had the #HHHLive show in a Special Edition format where we go with the flow... No official topic, but rather a casual talk, whatever the participants bring on... Oh boy, did we have exactly that! 😃 We had an almost 2-hour show talking about different topics, like DJ-ing, creating mix-tapes, the economy, altcoin season, etc. There is no recording of these SE shows, but you can check out the recap of the show.

For all the participants, there are some LEN tokens for attending the show and some special rewards (in Ecency POINTS) for those who are the bravest and come on the voice during the show!!! Don't forget that NOBODY is obligated to talk in the show, so you CAN come to listen and engage with others in the text chat... 😉
