The Bible's Jaw-Dropping Rule for People With Physical Defects

This man with the unusual face is Apostle Arome Osayi, a Nigerian pastor who is currently trending on Nigerian social media for his claims. He claims that Nigerians are not supposed to pay much attention to manufacturing and technology because we are supposed to mostly be about spiritual revival and things.

Then he said he goes to heaven sometimes to just hang with God and Jesus and talk 🤣🤣.

Nigeria is a country where the people take religion so seriously, and when a group of people treat religion like that, usually there are consequences. People stop caring much about the current life we're living because their hopes are more in the afterlife.

They also become very gullible and docile.

That's why it is on guys like me who have woken up to try to awake as many of my people as I can. So as debates keep flying about what this man said, I choose the route of overturning the table and scatterings everything on the ground 🤣🤣.

This was my own take:

In Leviticus 21:17–20 God said anyone with a disfigured face, hunchback, a dwarf, or any physical issue natural or unnatural CANNOT be a priest and should not come near the altar because the presence of someone like that near the altar is a defilement of the altar 🤣🤣.

Yet this guy Apostle Arome Osayi said he goes to heaven sometimes and talks to God and Jesus🤣. The only thing I see God telling him in heaven is that he has been defiling the altar and profaning the name of the Lord by parading himself as a pastor despite his disfigured face. And God is definitely following it up with slaps.

Note that I'm not the one roasting this guy, it is the Bible roasting him. Look at Leviticus 21: 17-20 (NKJV):

16And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

17“Speak to Aaron, saying: ‘No man of your descendants in succeeding generations, who has any defect, may approach to offer the bread of his God.

18For any man who has a defect shall not approach: a man blind or lame, who has a marred face or any limb too long,

19 a man who has a broken foot or broken hand,

20 or is a hunchback or a dwarf, or a man who has a defect in his eye, or eczema or scab, or is a eunuch.

21 No man of the descendants of Aaron the priest, who has a defect, shall come near to offer the offerings made by fire to the Lord. He has a defect; he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God. 22He may eat the bread of his God, both the most holy and the holy; 23only he shall not go near the veil or approach the altar, because he has a defect, lest he profane My sanctuaries; for I the Lord sanctify them.’

Verse 18 that mentioned "marred face", in NIV it goes like this: " No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed;"

In KJV it goes like this: "For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous"

Also note that If you feel bad about the message in this scripture because you probably have a bodily defect direct your anger to God, the Bible, or the people that wrote it not me, me I don't discriminate against people based on their natural defects, I love everyone, I'm better than your God.

For those who would say this is the Old Testament, I'll always remind you that even if you claim that things changed with the new testament, it doesn't change the fact that this was once the thought process of a supposedly all-loving and all-wise God.

A mere mortal man can say "I have changed and I don't think like a bigot anymore", but can the all-wise, all-loving omniscient God say "I have changed and I don't think like a bigot anymore"? Because that would mean "Oh, I was once a fool in the past but now I have sense".

This is not a matter of God have harsh rules in the past but after Christ's sacrifice he now gives more lenient rules. Because if it was a matter of just rules that Bible passage above wouldn't have added that the reason why he doesn't want people with defects near the altar is because their presence would defile the altar. It would have simply been that those are the rules and that's all.

But in that passage you can see clearly the thought process of a discriminator, a body shamer, and someone who thinks the natural defects you were born with, that he created by the way, makes you less.

PS: there are many other passages like this but the reason you don't know them is because you don't read your Bible, and they only tell you about the good parts in Church, plus the bad parts they think they've successfully manipulated to sound good.
