Welcome to another Splinterlands post folks and I hope you all are doing well in. As a fellow Hive user, I guess that you are managing at least an hour or two to interact on Hive chain daily - Playing games like Splinterlands, writing blogs, interacting in comments on other’s posts or chat live in those new short form platforms introduced in Inleo or Peakd. Now, for those who play Splinterlands on a daily basis, I guess all of you are in a fight mode now and trying to climb that trophy ladder as fast as possible. If we take a look at the ranked season clock right now, less than 10 days left for this ongoing season to meet its end. So, whatever goals you have set for yourself in this current season, either to reach a certain league tier and claim those juicy reward chests during the process, or to aim for high and fight with the OG Splinterlands players to book a spot in the top champion leaderboard, I hope you reach there early this time and probably avoid the season end bloodbath.
Now, taking about my own activity in the game, as I have shared in my previous posts, I have recently started playing the new Frontier Mode and I am playing it very seriously since I have started. The best feature of this newest mode in Splinterlands is that it is completely free to play mode with real rewards that can be earned simply by playing the game actively. In this mode, only frontier edition cards can be used l, which can only be acquired by playing the champaign mode and this frontier mode. Now, like most of you, I am also playing this new mode very actively and just recently I have touched the Bronze I league and opened 10 reward chests earned as league tier rewards. I have shared the outcome above in the screenshot, where ai have earned a bunch of frontier edition cards along with 2 frontier entries, 1 battle energy and 1 legendary potion. Sp far, I have progress a bit on building foundation card deck and have recently upgraded 3 cards to level 2, and tight now as I am righting this post, 4 more cards are ready for their next upgrades. For me, so far its been a nice experience playing this mew mode, here you don't have to tale headaches of investing first hand after cards or SPS stake to play this game mode, but you earn real rewards, like the foundation edition cards themselves, which can be traded in market for DEC token. Currently, my plan is to build a max collection of all the foundation cards, so that I can dominate the Above league with time, and hopefully increasing my reward earning.
Now, moving forward, let me take a turn towards the main topic of this post as today, I will be showcasing another amazing Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the ARCHER KOI card. So, if you are interested to know all the details and features about this monster, let us take a dive with any further ado.
The Archer Koi is a monster type card that cam into existence with the launch of the latest CA edition card-set in Splinterlands. This monster belong to the Water element and it comes from the Mundane Beast bloodline. By rarity, this one is a Rare type card, so it would require a total of 115 BCXs cards to upgrade it to its max level. This monster only costs 4 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this card in your lineup when playing small to medium mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster card is range and apart from a pretty good attack power, this card also comes with a good combo of armour and health hut at low speed. Not only that, bit it also carries 3 abilities which I am about to talk more about at later in this post. Let us now take a further look into this card’s league wise stats and abilities to know more.
At level 2, this monster card possesses 1 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 1 armour and 3 health. Apart from a pretty gold stats considering its mana cost, this monster also gets an ability called - Repair, with which it will now repair broken armours on friendly monsters and help you to defence your armoured units better.
REPAIR - Restores 2 armor (up to max) to the allied unit with the most damage to its armour.
As this monster card gets upgraded to level 4, it now receives a increased stats of 2 ranged attack at 2 speed with 1 armour and 3 health. The increased ranged attack can now even damage harder, so, even those shield ability monsters are not safe now anymore. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at his level called the Painforge ability. strengthenIng your overall attack power in the battle.
PAINFORGE - +1 power when damaged by poisoned or burning or hit by an allied unit.
When you upgrade this monster further to it’s gold level 6, there it’s stats gets increased even further, now wearing a whopping 3 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 1 armour and 4 health. Though it doesn't get any new abilities at this level, with more attack power, it can now bring devastating damage into the enemy monsters and get you quick kills.
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 8, there also its stats get a further increment of 3 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 1 armour and 6 health. Glad, it also receives a new ability at its max level called Fury, which will suddenly buff up your attack power magically for the Taunt type card with this ability.
FURY - Deals double damage if the target has Taunt ability.
Last but not least, this card really is a great choice and will be widely used in small to medium mana limit matches, or the ones with Little League rules. Its unmatched attack power considering its mana costs is its best feature and for only its attack power alone, you would consider to give it a place in your collection. What do you think?
Archer Koi gonna dominate! 💪 Low mana battles just got interesting.
Exactly my friend, this small looking monster will indeed dominate the lower mana class battles.
