Wellness Is a Lifestyle: Care While You Can

There's this popular saying:" Health is Wealth" and that's a phrase that motivates me to take care of my body and mind daily. It brings the consciousness that good health is precious and should be appreciated, just like wealth. Good health is like an investment in the life of a person and being healthy keeps one moving, it gives so much joy, an opportunity to care for ourselves while we can, freedom and independence.

Many of us rarely appreciate the privilege of being healthy. It gives us the liberty to execute our task successfully and stay independent without any kind of support. That's why I try as much as I can to maintain a healthy daily routine, which I will be sharing in this post.

To me, self-care should be a daily task. I might not be very perfect, but I try as much as I can to put my health first daily. Self-care is as necessary as the work I have to do daily. I believe it's important to care for myself as often as I can. It doesn't have to be only when sickness strikes, but a compulsory daily activity, a consciousness to put my health first and avoid activities that could endanger my well-being.

My daily health care routine is really simple. To maintain physical wellness, I'm always conscious of my diet because what I consume daily and what I consume daily can affect and predict my daily health. Also, I prioritize water. Drinking water has often been beneficial to my skin, body and mind. Staying hydrated is the best and most affordable health care I can give myself.
I'm not very consistent with exercising, but the little I do daily has really helped my physical wellness. It's often a stretch or a walk.
Lastly, taking fruits often has really helped improve my physical wellness.

For my mental wellness, I try as I can to keep a positive and optimistic mindset daily, try to avoid any form of negativity or bad thoughts even when I'm being pressured or having a bad day. This has really helped me daily and influenced my decision-making positively. I also try as much as I can to avoid stress and minimize overworking myself, because that can really affect my health.

For my emotional wellness, to some people, emotional wellness doesn't matter, but then I have realized that emotional wellness is as important as our physical wellness. I have learned the importance of gratitude and that has built my emotions. Even in times of disappointment and pain, I don't let it reflect or affect my daily life, but rather, I stay grateful for better days ahead of me. Also, for good emotional wellness, I have learned to forgive and let go of things I can't control daily .Emotional wellness is often neglected, but to me, it's important to maintain a healthy emotion daily, it gives me peace and confidence.

My physical, emotional and mental wellness is really important to me and that's why I prioritize them, inculcate activities that keep my mental, physical and emotional wellness daily.
When I'm not sick, I take care of myself by keeping check of myself physically, mentally and emotionally. I'm not perfect, and I'm open to learning other ways to care for myself daily.

I believe it's important to prioritize your health always and without seasons. I believe that maintaining a healthy daily routine helps in making the body healthier and prevents sickness in the future and that's why I try as much as I can to maintain a healthy daily routine.
