MY BEACH HOLIDAY

Greetings to all, and welcome to my blog. I am happy to participate in this week's #267 prompt that says. What is your favourite thing to enjoy during the holiday season and why?. And it is published by @ladiesofhive. I want to share with you all a question my son asked me and the importance of that question. Please stick around.

My son asked me " Mummy, will you still take us to the beach as usual this holiday"? I told him that I will think about it. Then this prompt came up and I thought of it as a better opportunity to talk about the favourite place we usually go during holidays.

For the passed 21years of my life, I have been visiting the beach during the end of the year's holiday season. Did I say 21years? Yes you heard me right. Before these years, I lived in a place where I do not have access to the beach. But when I moved to my current city, that has so many beaches, I decided to pay yearly visit to the beach during the end of the year holiday season.

And I can not afford to miss these yearly beach because of my children who really enjoyed such outdoor recreation. So even when I'm low in income, I will definitely make the provision to pay this yearly visit to the beach. We hire bus that will convey us to the beach. We will hire a DJ also that will play music to keep the tent lively. We cooked food and make snacks. On arrival, we rent tent, for relaxation and to safeguard our personal belongings.

The beach affords my family and I and invited friends a fine opportunity to be in contact with nature and to experience first hand one of the wonders of nature. At the beach, we buy different traditional foods and drinks that are sold in the beach. We enjoyed different activities like to play football, ride horse, drink coconut water and many others. We also engaged in funny activities like, egg race, sack race, and we also hunt for shells in the water 😀😀😀 then we take pictures upon pictures, pictures of the waves and pictures of ourselves.

Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, we enjoyed the sound of the waves, moving back and forth with its pollution. Such Seren environment of the beach affords me the opportunity to unwind and refreshed. We also enjoyed the thunderous sounds of the waves as it moves back and forth which reminds me of the power of sea water. Then here comes the fresh breeze, when it touches my skin, makes me feel alive. Watching my children and friends from a distance, playing on the water and the waves throwing them up and down is the moment I enjoyed most.
