AM I AN INDOOR OR OUTDOOR PERSON?

Hello Ladies šŸ¤—

I'm excited to be back here again for this week's LOH 229 Contest.

When it comes to choosing between staying indoors or going outside, I am 100% an indoor person. If given the option to go out or stay home, I will always pick my cozy space, my bed, my phone, and my peace of mind. For me, nothing compares to the comfort of being in my own world, free from unnecessary stress, noise, and drama.

There are several reasons why I love being indoors. First, I enjoy sleeping. Nothing is sweet as wrapping myself in my blanket, playing soft music, and drifting off into a peaceful sleep. My bed is my best friend.

Secondly, I love using my phone. Whether itā€™s scrolling through social media, chatting with my close friends (and I emphasize ā€œfriendsā€ because I donā€™t just chat with random people), or watching funny videos, my phone keeps me entertained. Itā€™s like my little window to the world without actually stepping outside.

Thirdly, I love singingā€”loudly! When Iā€™m home, I can blast my favorite songs and sing my heart out without worrying about disturbing anyone (well, maybe because my neighbors are usually not home, but thatā€™s their problem, not mine). Music gives me a certain kind of joy that I can't really tell out.

Lastly, I love my peace and privacy. I donā€™t enjoy unnecessary drama, gossip, or social obligations that come with being outside too much. The world can be chaotic, and I prefer to keep my space calm and stress-free. My small circle of friends understands this about me, but they still complain that I donā€™t come out often.

I have been thinking could it be that my childhood experience is what that is causing these, because back then my mum will not always allow us step outside except on occasions, She would shout at us to come inside, and over time, it became a habit. Maybe thatā€™s why, even as an adult, I donā€™t feel the urge to go out much.

People used to tell me that once I start living on my own, I would go out more. But guess what? That didnā€™t happen. Even when I had roommates who tried to drag me out for fun, I would refuse. I just love staying in my comfort zone.

If I ever need to step out, itā€™s always for a purpose. I go out, buy whatever I need, and head straight back home. No unnecessary detours, no hanging around, no side talk. The moment my task is done, Iā€™m already thinking about getting back to my bed, playing music at full volume, and enjoying my solitude.

Now with all these you will agree with me that I'm a typical homiešŸ¤—šŸ˜”šŸ¤— And yes I'm happy with it.

Now, hereā€™s my dilemma: Am I living the right way, or do I need to adjust? Some people tell me that I should go out more, make more friends, and experience life outside my home. But honestly, I don't feel like I'm missing out the outdoors lifestyle at all, I'm just a girl that loves her space.

What do you think? Should I make an effort to be more social, or is it okay to embrace my love for staying indoors? Iā€™d love to hear your thoughts!
