The Friends Who Always Have My Back.#299

Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is from Ladies of Hive, so let's dive in.

Honestly, it's rare to see a genuine friends that has your back from 100 level to your final year. We have some friends who started together in 100 level but separated even before their final year. However, I thank God for giving me good friends.

To be honest, my friends have done a lot for me, but if I have to choose, out of the five friends who are close to me, I will only talk about two of them. Although I have many friends, only five are really close to me, and among those five, these two are the closest.

My friends have done a lot for me that I can never forget, but there is one thing that really made me realise that no matter what I'm facing, they will always have my back.

I have once talked about Roseline here on Hive. Even though I didn't tell her what was going on with me, she knew something was wrong. She went to speak with her boyfriend, who knows how close we both are, and her boyfriend asked her to give me #5,000, which happened to be during the exact time I needed the money because I didn't want to trouble my sisters. I was surprised and shocked because I didn't know she could see through me and know what I was going through. That left a lasting impression on me. Even though she has done much more than that for me, that particular moment made me realise that no matter what, I will always have her back.

Secondly, my second closest friend is Christiana, who I always called Tina. She has been an amazing friend even though she was the last friend I made during my 200 level. Ever since I met her, I have never regretted it. Yes, there are times when Tina, Rose, and I fight, but we always make sure nobody knows about it, and we sort it out ourselves without keeping malice.

Tina has been an amazing friend, and I will even say she is like a sister to me. No matter what I'm facing, I know she will always have my back. Whenever I'm in need of anything and I go to meet her, she never disappoints me. Even if she doesn't have it, she will either help me look for it or promise me that she will get it for me.

Should I talk about the times she paid for me whenever we were asked to pay impromptu money in class that day? Or when she spoke to her uncle, who was once one of our lecturers, behind my back and asked him to help me with his course? I didn't know any of this, and she didn't even tell me. It was her uncle who later told me and asked me to pretend that I didn't know. She has done a lot for me. Should I talk about how she surprises me by buying things for me?

In conclusion, those two are really amazing friends to me. Not that my other friends don't do things for me, but you know that feeling of having genuine friends who will always have your back no matter what, or who check up on you whenever they don't see you in school or when you're sick. Those two are what they calles genuine friends and I appreciate God for sending them to my life.
