Musical Memory Lane: Songs I know By Heart [LOH 214]

In the world of music, there is always going to be the sweet and simple songs, the sweet and difficult songs, the simple but difficult songs. It's one of the things I see in any new song I come across with the question, "Can I learn this song, how well?" and somehow, I've known countless songs and how they are being sang with the lyrics.

Maybe it's because I'm a lover of music, I tend to learn songs very quickly. I've always thought I'd do even better with my studies if everything was written in notes and rhymes (making music out of every lessons) lol. I could listen to a song once or twice and get the melody, the remaining work is to know what the lyrics says and enjoy the flow.

I tried to think of just a few songs I would share here that I know the lyrics by heart and I ended up with another long list, that's because I learn a lot of songs for different and same reasons most times. There are many songs lyrics I've learnt growing up that I still remember today but I'll share some of the recent ones I know very well.

"Listen" By Beyonce

I heard this song from a movie for the first time but tell you what?! I didn't find interest in it until after a few months or maybe a year, I heard the song in one of the talent shows I watch often then. I just found myself learning the song slowly but very effectively, I know every word of the song and I could actually act out the words while I sing it. It's a song of self confidence.
