Fueling My Fire: Passion, Profit Or Independence?

For a while now, I've been thinking on what business idea I can come up with to have something doing outside Hive but I'm yet to get motivated to pick any out of the options I've found. This week's topic reminded me why it has been difficult for me to find something. I'm either not passionate about the next step or I can't see the profit I'll get from them or I'm not free to do any of them. Or it might be a combination of two.

One thing is clear though, I have other things going for me that I'm motivated to do, I just want to have more options to explore since I'm less busy outside Hive. It's really not easy to take a decision when it comes to business or something to keep you busy and still offers you something to gain or experience in doing them.

I have never been the business type and I think I have no motivation to explore that aspect of life just yet but it's one of my dreams to own a self made business that would answer to the needs of people in my location. It's still a thought for now until I am even a tiny bit motivated and ready to embark one to help me unleash my potentials.

Even though I'm not into any business now, I have things that needs to get done everyday when I wake up and the topic is asking to know what my motivations are to get up every morning to do these things. If I have to choose from the options, my top option will be "Passion" as I've seen how much love I've found in doing my daily activities.

The passion is what keeps me doing them without feeling tired or wanting to quit from them. For engaging on Hive, I've been doing this for over four years and I think if it was by the rewards (profits), I have a lot of reasons to give up showing up here. But because I love to express myself through writing right from childhood, it's a part of me to spread my passion.

The feeling of being independent also fuels my fire to stay motivated. I have no restrictions at home to do what I need to do, instead I have responsibilities to take up so I can't slack off knowing some things will suffer when I do. All that keeps me active in what needs to be done.

Profits are great, I mean, everyone got bills to pay and passion sometimes can't sort those bills but being passionate about something can bring in the profits even more genuinely and better than pursuing profits alone. I'll say I'm not earning up to what I need to carry out the responsibilities on me but I still keep me showing up for the little.

That goes to say, all three are my motivation everyday in my endeavours. My passion, what I'll get from it and my independency are what fuels my fire daily. On a scale, passion is the main key.
