How I found out about Hive and the best about Hive. Loh #227

How did you hear about Hive blockchain and what made you join?

It was the beginning of a new session when a fresh face arrived at my workplace. By divine chance, we were assigned to share the same office, as we both belonged to the same department. His name is Mr Afolayan V.T, known as @vickoly. One thing I quickly noticed about him was his constant engagement with his phone; this man can stay glued to his phone from morning until closing time, and it made me wonder why he hardly spoke to anyone except for his mobile phone.

One day, a curiosity that wouldn't let me rest got the better of me, and I asked him what usually kept him so busy on his phone, and he said he was on the Hive blockchain. He introduced me to the Hive blockchain, sharing insights about how it had allowed him to connect with great minds from near and far, creating a vast network of friends. He spoke about the financial opportunities that the blockchain had provided him in the past and continued to do so.

He explained that the key to success on Hive was writing authentic stories that would attract likes or upvotes. At that moment, I felt discouraged🤷 I am always busy, and I knew I wasn't particularly good at writing stories. However, he encouraged me to give it a try and see if it would resonate with me or not. So, I agreed to give it a shot.

A year went by, and I still hadn’t pursued it until I noticed @aunty-tosin had first me to join and thrive on Hive, which finally motivated me to take the courage to write my introduction post. When I started posting, it felt like I was making no progress as my posts were like a radio frequency 🤣0.00, 0.02 votes despite the effort I put into writing and using original photos. Yet he continued to encourage me not to give up, which I did not👌

Now, after attending newbie initiatives organized by experts in the community, I find myself inspired by the likes of @merit.ahama, @nkemakonam89, @vickoly, @olujay, @princessbusayo and others who have become my role models on Hive. Kudos to them for leading the way! 👏👏

What is the best about Hive?

What I appreciate most about Hive is its financial aspect, ever since I joined, I've been able to pay some bills without stress. I don't want to pretend 🙈

I also value the opportunity to meet new people, which aligns with my hobby of connecting with others. I've formed connections with remarkable individuals on Discord and other channels, and the relationships are genuine and fantastic.

Hive has pushed me to think quickly and creatively about what to write, ultimately enhancing my writing skills. I'm grateful for this platform. This is another good thing about Hive Blockchain.

Lastly, I've gained valuable experience in sharing stories and receiving immediate feedback. It's a community that fosters collaboration and growth.

How can I forget the experience of taking pictures 🤣 this is the funny part. Hive has taught me to take pictures anywhere at every opportunity I see because it will be useful one day. Thank you, Hive Blockchain!
