I honestly don't know why some issues are taken for granted in this country, Nigeria. Some issues shouldn't be taken for granted and should be addressed well in society and dealt with.

Some people just do some things in this country and get away with them without doing justice to them. Some of these issues should never be taken for granted or lightly in society.

They should all face the law and be punished for their irresponsible acts. Some people just turn out to be beasts, and they deserve to be treated as such.

A Rape Case

A young lady, who is better left anonymous, has been facing some issues of rape from her own biological father for years now. And has literally not been able to voice out or even say anything.

Because this country is already messed up, and I'm sure she would be scared of saying anything or speaking up for herself. Because she's obviously scared of dying, and she'd be doing everything possible to protect her dear life.

Because of the empty threat she got from her father, she truly doesn't want to die. Because, I mean?? Who wants to die?? Nobody. Everyone is really scared of dying.

Despite all this, there is no money in the country, too much suffering, and all that. No one still wants to die at the end.

He might End Up Going Scot-Free

It's just so disheartening that even with the fact that all this is going on,it might still end up not being resolved. The man might end up going unpunished, which isn't supposed to be like that.

The country is just so fucked up, and I don't even know how they expect the future of the upcoming and unborn kids to be with the way things are going here in the country, Nigeria.

This case wouldn't have been taken lightly, for sure, if it turned out to be happening to a citizen in the United States of America or one of these big countries abroad. But in the country of Nigeria, they barely take cases like this as a big deal.

Do You Feel She Might End Up Getting Justice?

I'm sure she might not end up getting justice for these particular issues because it's been this bad to the extent that in this country,if you don't have money or a connection, you don't have a voice to speak.

Many issues have died down because of the influence of money and connections in the country. It's mostly a normal thing for the person at fault to be set free due to a connection or having money.

Many people have been cheated due to a lack of connection and money in this country. Money and connections have been ruling the whole country.
They're all blind-folded by money. Be it the police officers, the high rulers, etc.

Many Feel's Less Safe opening up or reporting issues to authorities in the country

One doesn't even feel safe talking to anyone or even opening up to anyone or anything because you don't know who's who anymore.
You don't know the right authority to report either.

They've all been blindfolded with money and have all turned corrupt. Although there are still faithful and non-corrupt ones among them,.
But you really can't tell who's who because many of them do more eye service.

But I just hope she gets her help and gets out of this issue safe and sound. Because I literally don't know what to say about this particular issue on ground.

Please drop your opinion and any advice you've got concerning this particular issue on ground and what you feel can be done about it please.

Someone is in need of help and advice at the moment, and the person is obviously very depressed and doesn't know what to do at this point in time.

Thank you for taking the time to go through my post. It feels really good to have you here on my profile. And trust me, every opinion and piece of advice counts. Do not skip

That is terrible, I am not familiar with the legal system of Nigeria, context, nor even mention of the mother, but I am certain that living with her abusive father cannot continue and she would be in need of a safe house away from him. Second is the crime has to be reported and documented to initiate action and due process. I can understand your reluctance in trusting the system as corrupt it can be. No country is totally free from corruption, even in a first world country like Canada. I hope you can find a reputable woman's advocacy organization in your country.

Very terrible I must say.

Yes i truly agree with you on that
She sure will need a safe home away from him.

Trusting the system is truly the problem because of the rate on corruption in the country.

And I agree with you that there's no country that's totally free From corruption.

We sure will try to find one.
