Hello Ladies....
If I am to answer this, I will say yes working from home does improve my work life balance , sincerely it already sounds like my kind of setup and yes It fits me perfectly, especially as a programmer. One thing about programming is that you actually need a very quiet environment to be able to think and work properly, programming is not a job that requires noise or stuff, it requires quiet time , you have to be really focused to get what you want, you need that focus, that calm space where you can just sit down, think through problems, write your code, debug, and actually get things done without too much interruption.
And yes this is what working from home provides, when at home you can control your environment than when you are outside , you can decide how quiet you want the place to be, bad how comfortable you want to be, how how you would structure your time too, there's no office noise, or random conversations, and also no constant distraction of any sort, and for someone that codes this is actually good.

Another thing is the stress of movement, you will wake up ,get ready, etc, the truth is the dealing with traffic, waking you to deal with the morning rush, already your mind will already be all over the place, before you finally get settled to start work for the day, it is already a kind of stress and seriously I don't think I can deal with all that,I sometimes wonder how people are able to go through all that stress and are still able to function well for the day, someone like me don't do well with stress before work, Working from home removes all of that, You wake up, get ready, and just start your day, no long commute, no unnecessary stress, that alone saves a lot of time and energy, and you can use that energy for something more productive or even for yourself, it also helps with flexibility, working from home helps you to structure your day in a way that works best for you, if you are more productive in the morning, you work in the morning, no stress, if it's at night then you do what you have to do and still do other things you have to do, that kind of freedom can really improve your overall balance.
Another thing I like about working from home is that it gives you more personal time, after work, you are already at home, you don’t need extra time to travel back, that means you can rest earlier, spend time doing other things, or even pick up new habits, this is like more comfortable way to work and actually it feels good to me, I also know that working from home requires discipline, and that's why one has to be careful, it's easy to get relaxed and also distracted if you are not careful, but once you are focused , you will get things done.
And yes at the end of the day, I think working from home is a big win for work life balance, especially for someone like me, It gives you peace, saves you stress, and allows you to work in a way that feels more natural, Honestly, it is not just about working, it is about working better and living better at the same time.

STOPAnother good side of working from home, you don't need to travel back home after a long and tiring day at work. At least at home, you can just chill after the work. I also prefer that one though it might be bad if I do it now coz of the kind of environment I have
