Hello ladies, for this prompt for the ladies of hive , I will go with the first topic, so it's like this for me, one movie that really made me sit back and think deeply about life is The Godfather, i did not just watch it as entertainment thing, I watched it and saw some serious life lessons hidden inside it, I mean the kind that you do even realize you’re learning until later.
At first, it just looks like a regular crime movie, family business, power, all of that. But if you really pay attention, it goes way beyond that. One major thing it taught me is how important control is control over your emotions, your decisions, and even how you respond to people, Don Vito wasn’t the loudest man in the room, but he was always the most respected, that alone says a lot, Sometimes, it’s not about who talks the most, but who thinks the most.

I learned something from this movie about power, power is not about being strong ,it is about the people you know and the relationships you have, Power is also about the time you do things, I saw that in the movie when people did favors for each other it meant a lot, this made me think that in my life , the people I know and how I treat them can help me in ways that just working hard cannot, I do not mean that I will try to trick people, no, I will try to be smart about how I treat them.
Then there is Michael Corleone, The way he changed is really interesting to me. Michael Corleone started out as a person who did not want to be part of his family's business, you see he just wanted to live his life without any problems..
Over time , things happened and he became a different person, this part of the movie made me think about how the people around me and the choices I make, can change who I am, Sometimes I do not even notice that I am changing until I look back and realize that I am not the person I used to be before, this Michael Corleone and his story really made me think about this seriously.
Another thing I picked up is the idea of consequences, every decision in that movie had weight, nothing was just small, one wrong move, one emotional reaction, and everything could fall apart, It made me start thinking more carefully about my own decisions, like not everything needs a quick reaction, sometimes, you need to pause, think, and move smart.
Also, family played a big role in the story, no matter how messy things got, everything still came back to family. It made me appreciate how important it is to have people you stand for and people who stand for you, even though their world was extreme, the core idea still applies in real life.
I really think you should watch The Godfather.... It is not for fun but it also teaches you some valuable things about life
It shows you the importance of being patient and thinking ahead.
It teaches you to control your emotions and consider the consequences of your actions.
The Godfather is one of those movies that stays with you long after you have finished watching it, For me The Godfather was more than a movie, It was like a lesson on how life really works all wrapped up in a story.
