Valentine is the moment of love, especially known for celebrating our loved ones but I think where an error got in and the misconception keep rising was when it was about to be tagged as a show of love within the romantic circle only.
Love is in different forms, not entangled with romantic relationships alone but also within families, genuine friends and acquaintances.

I saw a clip of a live show of a former popular TV presenter, appreciating a man who has worked with them for over 48years and has remain loyal still. She showed love to a worker whom had turned a family and this validates the point that valentine doesn't have to be celebrated alone among boyfriends and girlfriends or fiance, husbands and their partners alone.
For me, I love my family first and they were the first people I wished happy Valentine's Day with warmth heartfelt wishes. I realized it was heartfelt because of their responses and reactions.
Infact one of my recently bonded family was the first to send me a message at past 12am which shows that we're all important to ourselves and we appreciate the love we share as a family.

Moving over to the last question which is about my best friend. Who could be my best friend again if not for the one whom we lived in the same womb for 9months, shared same food and liquids that came through to the stomach, lived through same temperature of either heat or cold and shared same breathe from the same woman. No other person than my Taiwo.
She is and will always be my best friend, come what may. I'm glad we spent the Valentine's day together, and we toasted with our glasses of wine. I couldn't get her anything cos our birthday is fast approaching in this sane month of love and hopefully I get to gift her something nice.
