Even In Storm, She's Expected To Be Strong - #313

We live in a world where the society expect so much from people, irrespective of the gender they answer to, and unless you decide to stay blind and deaf to what they preach while maintaining one's focus, decision and determination, we may end up living for the society and not a life we planned for ourselves.

In as much as the society expects so much from men, as per having 9 bones (my own best reason, lol), they also expect so much from women as well and the journey starts from being a lady.
As a lady, you're not supposed to express the weight of pain you feel during your menstrual cycle because you will be reminded of how you want to cope during child birth labour. So you have to be able endure any sort of pain as a preparation to when you start child bearing journey even when you're meant to receive some sort of attention, love and support to relieve the pain at that time.

It is expected that a woman who is ready to build a peaceful and successful home must surely be ready to endure every challenges of life or from the marriage with no complaints.

Even when she is needed to listened to, heard and be supported but unfortunately most women have lost it, including their lives while trying to work and walk by the principles of the society.

We need to do better as everyone of us makes the society we are talking about. Expectations on individuals, irrespective of the gender should be reduced and limited while we as an individual, either a woman or man should also learn to live our own life, without making or applying the formula of the society asa priority.
