MOVIE REVIEW: SILENT ZONE ( 2025). A POST APOCALYPTIC TALE/MOVIE.

INTRODUCTION

Silent Zone (2025) is an Hollywood Action And Horror Movie . The movie was written by Viktor Csák and Krisztián Illés, and directed by Peter Deak.
Featuring; Matt Devere as Cassius and Luca Pap as Abigail (Lead actor and actress).
Silent Zone is also a post apocalyptic tale/movie.

SYNOPSIS/ SUMMARY

Silent Zone is a post apocalyptic tale, action and horror movie, that tell the story of how Cassius and Abigail survived in a world infected and attacked by Zombies. The movie started with a viral news about the wild spread and attack of Zombies, also called ferals in an international airport, the police, army , WHO and other organizations where trying to avoid it spread in other part of the city. But they failed and soon almost everyone turned to Zombie, turning the city to a wasteland, the city was desolated and full of Zombies/ferals

Cassius is a police officer, who saved Abigail as a little girl who witnessed her mom and brother turned into zombies. Her family was attacked and her mom and little brother was infected and turned into zombies /ferals while trying to escape from their home due to the attack, she felt they weren't safe at home and was taking them to safty .
Her dad who happens to be pilot, who was quarantined at the airport, but still turned to a Zombie, when the outbreak became uncontrollable.
The only option Cassius had was to kill her mom and brother.

Then the movie moved to 10years later, the virus was wild spread, the world was full of aggressive zombies/ferals . Cassius and Abigail were trying to survive humanity , the world was destroyed and left with empty houses, fallen buildings, bushes and limited survivors.
Cassius and Abigail were trying to survive in a wasteland, they stayed in the woods.
Cassius trained the teenage girl to fight and survive in a chaotic and unsafe world, he trained Abigail to use weapons and they developed a Father and daughter bond , good team mates and friends.
They learnt to survive together, fight together and watch each other's back.

The ferals were still blood thirsty, running and looking around for survival to get infected.
Abigail and Cassius journey was endless, they keep running far from the ferals with a map , untill they met David and Megan, Megan is pregnant and David is her husband, they were heading to the colony, where they claim was the safest place and there are human survivors at the colony too.
Cassius was unsure and didn't like the idea of going to the colony, but Abigail loved to idea, this caused a misunderstanding between Abigail and Cassius.
Cassius believes to survive the ferals, you have to keep moving and don't cluster around people, so he never believed the colony was a safe place.

Cassius is also compelled to help and protect the pregnant lady to the colony, so she can give birth safely, during their journey they were chased by the ferals/zombies who they encountered at the desert and they kept trailing them.

They went through series of challenges, from the several fights with the feral/zombies, who were extremely aggressive, had unusual strength and quite intelligent.
To flying an abandoned helicopter, to hastens their journey, but later crashed and finally meeting a crazy scientist who wanted to use them as lab rats.
David contacted the virus, he was bitten by a zombie, but it wasn't deep, so it took days to start developing the zombie symptoms, so he fought the last fight, while Cassius and Abigail made it to the colony with his pregnant wife, who died after giving birth to a baby girl, handed her over to Cassius and instructed him to raise her like Abigail.

The last fight was when the crazy scientist, who have invented a weapon to make ferals scare away from him, led the ferals to the safe colony and they invaded the colony.
Beneath the colony is a safe route that leads to an empty land, the survivors had to run to the safe route and they bombed the colony and all the ferals and zombies too, during the fight Abigail met her father, she was able to identify him with the pendant they shared before he got infected, she killed him to protect Cassius.

THEME AND ANALYSIS

• One major theme in this movie is survival and strength, in a world full of Zombies/ Ferals, Cassius and Abigail fought so hard to survive, built strength and strategy to always fight and defeat this ferals/zombies .
  Abigail was so skillful and strong, regardless of her childhood trauma and not having a surviving family member.
  They learnt to survive, fight for each other and love each other in a chaotic post apocalyptic world.
  Also, in the colony, that was referred to as safe heaven, they also built a place for escape, that survival instinct, you can't be so sure of your safety,in a world full of Zombies, in a world full of destruction and dangerous animals, you have to build safety.

• Another , major theme in this movie is bond and love.
  This is depicted in the love and bond Cassius and Abigail had for each other, they had each others love and protection throughout the movie, they had a father and daughter bond .
  Also, they extended their love and bond to Megan, they protected her and her pregnancy till the end .
  Although, Cassius in the past lost his pregnant wife.
  He protected her, until they got to the colony.

• Also the ferals/zombies in this movie were built differently, not like the zombie in walking dead, the zombie/ ferel in silent zone were built with some kind of intelligent and strength, they can respond in darkness and also light. The zombie/ferals weren't so scary looking ,but extremely fast and aggressive.
  I would rate this movie an 8/10
  If you enjoyed watching walking Dead, you would also enjoy watching silent zone(2025).
  I love the way this movie journeys the audience into a world twirling towards destruction and devastation.
  It's indeed a post apocalyptic tale/movie.
