When I was reading other people's post about movie reviews in the #cinetv community, I came across @abenad's review about Alice in Borderland so I went to download the series to see if it's worth watching.

‎Alice in Borderland follows Arisu, an obsessed game player, who suddenly finds himself in a strange world where he and his friends are forced to compete in a dangerous games. Arisu meets other people in this world and together they try to uncover the mysteries of this world.
‎It was released on 10 December 2020. With only 8 episodes.

‎When I was watching the series, I thought it was just an ordinary game or maybe he had found himself in the game he was playing, but it was totally different and far more intense than other thriller series I've been watching. The drama really has its own twists and turns, especially in the death games and I love how the lead character is amazingly intelligent.

‎The rules are strangely complex and will leave you confused wondering if you'll continue playing or give up. The game's rules are unconventional and drama is really violent and brutal, with people destorying each other just to save themselves. The bloodshed was too much.

‎The fact that you can never predict what will happen next keeps you in awe, The drama is filled with suspense. when I thought his friends would survive in the end, it turned out another way. When the characters think they've figured out everything to survive, more challenges keep coming. The way they keep twisting the plot made it more interesting and I just love dramas that are unpredictable.

‎When I started from episode one, I thought there were only five players, but each episode introduces more players and each characters has their own twists that you won't even see coming. The backstory of each characters shows how they ended up in the game and this made me even more interested in the drama.

‎ After watching season 1, I downloaded season 2, which was released on December 22, 2022. It has 8 episodes too. Season 2 was even darker and bloodier than S1. It was more tense and each character showcased their own strengths, brains and skills to survive the death game. The final fight against the king of spades was epic. The series was fire and I enjoyed every bit of it. I'll rate this series 10/10. Thanks to @abenad for the recommendation, it was definitely worth watching.

The movie reminds me of Jumanji
If you enjoy Something like Squid Game, you will love Alice in Borderlands. I also really loved it and watched many episodes with a smile on my face thinking 'this is really good'. The 2nd season arguably is even better than the 1st and I'm looking forward to see what they come up with for the upcoming 3rd Season.
Definitely worth the watch.
