The book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill aims to help man understand the three enemies that hinders them from achieving their goals. Indecision, doubt , and fear according to Napoleon has been the psychological heist that holds Humans back from the pursuit of riches. Napoleon Hill was a young special investigator for a known business magazine. During an interview with Andrew Carnegie, Carnegie had dropped a powerful hint of a master power he used- A magic law of the human mind, a psychological principle that was amazing in its power. This led Napoleon to go into research studying the life of millionaires for a good number of years. His study was summed into chapters with laws of success as will be seen below.
Chapters Summary
Desire: Desire by Hill is the starting point of all achievements. Every goal starts with a burning desire, ready to sacrifice all to see that such a goal comes to life. Without desire, there's no force to propel one to get to where he wants to be. There's first, the desire then the faith.
Faith: Faith is belief and visualization in the attainment of our goal. Where effort fails, faith becomes the drive. There's no perseverance when there's no faith in that which we hope to achieve.
Specialized knowledge: Knowledge from the four corners of school wouldn't help much in achieving success in life. Personal experience and organized knowledge from observation and other successful individuals play many vital roles.
Imagination: what we imagine, we can achieve. Imagination is the workshop of the mind, it's a place for artistic designs and creativity. We can use imagination to give spark to desires and shape the future.
