Hello and welcome to the 22ND edition of Cine TV Community Spotlight. The Cine TV Spotlight Series has begun in a bid to boost engagement and interaction in the community and showcase the work of deserving authors.

And it’s all simple. At the end of every week, we spotlight works by authors based on the content, originality, style, and word count. It is not a contest but just our way of creating exposure for the works we enjoyed throughout the week and boosting exceptionally written content by our authors. Simply put, give it your best and have fun while at it, and then we showcase your work here.

So, in no particular order, here are the authors spotlighted for this week:

Title: Justice League- Where Since Meets Spirituality

I don't think I have any downside or saw any loopholes watching this cartoon because it was well detailed. Hmm… maybe except for how seamless the time machine worked at the end of the episode. I mean, for something that has been out for 40 years, there ought to have been some glitch and not it working as fast as it did. Well, let's just assume that the energy from Green Lantern's ring fixed all the glitches and errors that would have arisen because the ring powered it.

I was expecting to hear those beautiful Ghanaian names and a mix of the typical Ghanaian accent and language, but these ingredients were missing. The names of the characters, too, were mostly English. Why? At the end of the movie, I was also asking myself what the essence of the American detective’s role was. He appeared to have played little to no part in bringing the kïller to justice. If it was to find closure, well maybe it worked or maybe it didn’t.

Title: The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind

Truth be told, such movies make me emotional. Watching a movie based on true events always makes it stick. The memory almost never fades. So, what about this movie made my weekend? See, there was no mind blowing scene or filming techniques, the story was mild and told as it was (or so I hope). I have watched something like this before and that is what made it so enjoyable. Laid back and dealing with real life situations.

Title: Coming to America 1988

Well, for myself as a viewer, I was entertained with the streets and buildings filled with stickers and interesting adverts on their walls as the characters go around the city in search of a bride but in disguise. I'm wondering if "Mac Dowell's" place actually existed then and if it's still there in Queens. It's the place in Queens, New York City Akeem met and fell in love with his bride.

Title: It Takes A Man and a Woman

The film make me reflect on my own views on love, growth, and forgiveness. The film reinforced the idea that relationships takes effort and that healing takes time. The cinematography and soundtrack added to the emotions of the story, making it even more engaging. I also noticed how the film’s tone was more mature and bittersweet compared to the earlier movies in the trilogy, which made sense given how both Laida and Miggy had changed.

Title: Sleeping Dogs

I feel that if the director had thought of making a web series in this, then it could have been a better idea because the story of this movie is really very thrilling. Even if short episodes were made, but if this movie was stretched a little longer, then the story could have been more clear, due to which the experience of watching the movie could have been better. To tell the truth, nowadays it is not fun to watch such short duration long movies, now I have got used to watching long web series, so after watching such a short movie, it seems that something is still incomplete, many things are not clear.

Title: The Gorge

Still, I can't say the movie is bad or mediocre. The secrets of the gate and the flirting scenes between the two make the movie watchable for a while, and then the love between the two reaches a level where they can sacrifice each other. In fact, it would be appropriate to say that the ending of the movie can be considered as the happy ending of a love movie. I think the movie and the story would have been much more successful if the secrets of the gateway

Title: My Verdict on Flight Risk

1000903543.jpg

I love it when movies try something like this and pull it off. Something like make an entire movie/story out of one single event/outing that was supposed to be simple and short, begin and end without consequence, but the event ends up being the entire movie. Single simple events like a flight, a ride, a visit, a walk, simple things like that.
