Hello Hivers...π
I hope everyone is feeling great, happy, and healthy today and always.
Watching movies on Netflix is one of my favorite leisure activities at home, after I've finished all the household chores. Aside from watching anime, I also enjoy romantic and family movies from various countries. I also love to watch some reality shows like cooking, singing, and dancing.
Just recently I watched this Argentinian romantic drama film entitled "The Heart Knows" or (El Corazon Zabe") in their original language. It's a beautiful and inspiring story, which is why I decided to share it with you here.
The Heart Knows follows the story of a wealthy and gruff businessman, who owns a large construction company named Juan Manuel (portrayed by Benjamin VicuΓ±a), who undergoes a heart transplant and experiences a sudden change in his personality. Juan has this urge to find his heart donor. In his search, he meets a dog that can sense and knows his heart, regardless of his new identity.
This scene really touched my heart as I am a dog lover. This shows the dog's unconditional and loyal love to his/her owner. Meeting the dog leads him to meet his donor's widow, Valeria (portrayed by Julieta Diaz), and her son Tiago. In this film, it doesn't focus only on Juan's search for his heart donor but also focuses on the residents of El Progreso neighborhood, which is in conflict with the city's municipality for development plans.
Juan meets some of the residents in El Progreso and eventually learns about the situation there, and he knows the residents are against the municipality's plan. The locals were not ready to leave, so they came up with a plan to make sure they would not be evicted that easily.
They wanted to fight for their rights. They began constructing a clinic and a home for the elderly, as well as improving their church. This is the situation Juan sees there. Juan covers his real identity as a rich businessman and helps the residents with the construction.
Later on, Juan becomes their friend, and he truly and genuinely enjoys their company. However, they later discovered Juan's true identity and status. And they feared losing El Progreso. It also feared the feelings of Juan and Valeria that had just started to develop.
This movie is really heartwarming, though a bit predictable, but it is worth watching. A beautiful story indeed that can touch your heart. I hope you will spare some time to watch this film, which is available on Netflix.
Until here and see you in my next post.
Thank you so much for dropping by and God bless πβ€
Looks like a wholesome story that will make you feel warm. I don't really watch movies now, I miss watching movies in laptop. π€§
