War am Wochenende in Bukarest, der Hauptstadt von Rumänien, die derzeit ungefähr 1.7 Millionen Einwohner zählt. Bukarest ist sehr weitläufig angelegt, vor allem für Autos optimiert, und ist architektonisch ein wilder Mix aus Sowiet-Stil (Ceaușescu), Neubarock und funktionalen Bauten.

I was in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, over the weekend. The city currently has a population of around 1.7 million. Bucharest is very spread out, optimized primarily for cars, and architecturally a wild mix of Soviet style (Ceaușescu era), neo-baroque, and functional buildings.

I've never been to Romania but I have several Romanian friends and I would love to go.
Lot of graffiti around tough, but doesn't seem very different from other European cities
