Spotted this cleaning robot at a train station in Vienna, Blade Runner vibes
Habe diesen Staubsauger-Roboter am Westbahnhof in Wien entdeckt, Blade Runner-Vibes. Der Roboter hat sich sehr langsam und vorsichtig vorwärts beweget und bleibt bei jedem Human, der sich circa einen Meter vor ihm befindet, stehen.
Denke, dass wir in Zukunft sehr viele Roboter sehen werden, die alle möglichen Aufgaben übernehmen werden.
Oder denkt ihr, dass es eine Gegenbewegung geben wird, und Humans gegen Roboter kämpfen werden und diese sabotieren und vandalisieren werden, damit sie ihnen nicht die Arbeit wegnehmen.
Was denkt ihr? Wie werden sich Roboter gegen Humans schützen können? Wird es schon bald viele KI-betriebene, autonome Roboter geben oder ist das noch Science Fiction?

I discovered this cleaning robot at at the Vienna West station, Blade Runner vibes. The robot moved forward very slowly and carefully, stopping whenever a human was about three feet in front of it.
I think that in the future we will see a lot of robots taking on all kinds of tasks.
Or do you think there will be a counter-movement, and humans will fight against robots and sabotage and vandalize them so they don't take their jobs away?
What do you think? How will robots be able to protect themselves against humans? Will there soon be many AI-powered, autonomous robots, or is that still science fiction?
Die Wischroboter gibt es schon länger. Vor allem in der Industrie oder in Bürokomplexen sieht man diese nach Feierabend durch die Hallen und Büros rollen.
So einen in der Art gibt es bei Edeka schon "lange" im einsatz, ist etwas Gewöhnungsbedürftig, so ganz gut funktioniert der finde ich noch nicht.
Also der wollte nicht weichen, was nervt, wenn man da lang will es aber nicht geht, wegen einer Säule.
Vorteil dabei ist, der kann ständig sauber machen, so das Läden deutlich sauberer sein sollten als bisher, kannst ja nicht jemanden rund um die Uhr wischen lassen.
Die KI scheint bei diesem Modell noch nicht so ausgereift zu sein, aber denke, dass wird mit der Zeit auch besser. Andererseits müssen die Roboter extrem vorsichtig sein, damit sie keine Humans verletzen.
Wenn da überhaupt eine KI drin ist, keine Ahnung auf was für einem Stand die sind.
Ja das richtig, er sollte Sensoren haben und Eückwerts fahren, wenn ein Mensch nicht weicht, finde ich zumindest.

I think they can get better overtime. I don't know if they will be fully replace people, but they might just need a person to supervise.
These are quite common nowadays. I even spotted a similar vending robot, I believe it was at one of the German international airports.

The real science fiction isn't the robots themselves, but how quickly we get used to them. Within five years, we probably won't even look up from our phones when one passes by!
Angesichts dessen, wer derzeit die Kontrolle über die AI-Entwicklung hat, glaube ich auch eher, dass die Eliten die Bevölkerung reduzieren werden (weniger Untertanen -> weniger Aufstände), und zwar mit allen Mitteln. Z.B. steigt die Krebsrate derzeit stark an...
Solche Momente zeigen wie schnell Technik Alltagsleben verändert.
I can totally imagine the Blade Runner vibe at the station. It really makes you think about how fast robots are becoming part of everyday life.
I think it will take more years or decades for the robots and AI to take over most of the jobs we have today

Cleaning Robots are very helpful especially to the huge places that requires continuous maintenance
