Das Netz ist derzeit voll mit lauter Ghibli-Memes und Anime-Bildern im Ghibli-Style. Ghibli ist ein japanisches Anime-Studio, das in den 1980-er Jahren gegründet worden ist. Besonders begeistert sind sie vom Hype anscheinend nicht, da die neue Image-KI von OpenAI deren Stil sehr einfach übernehmen lässt.
Mit der neuen Generation von Bild-KIs können Bilder einfach per Prompt bearbeitet werden. Anstatt wie früher komplizierte Plugins bei Stable Diffusion zu verwenden, Bildbereiche zu maskieren und sich mit Millionen Parametern zu spielen, können jetzt Bilder einfach per Prompt bearbeitet werden.
Und auch Style-Transfers sind super einfach geworden.
Man lädt ein Bild hoch und promptet die KI es im Ghibli-Stil zu reproduzieren.
Voilà!
Die Ergebnisse sind nicht schlecht, wobei es aber immer noch kleine Fehler und Halluzinationen gibt.
Grok3 kann diese Bild-Prompts übrigens auch schon.

What is the hype about Ghibli?
The web is currently full of Ghibli memes and anime images in Ghibli style. Ghibli is a Japanese anime studio that was founded in the 1980s. They don't seem to be particularly enthusiastic about the hype, as the new image AI from OpenAI makes it very easy to adopt their style.
With the new generation of image AIs, images can be edited simply by prompting. Instead of using complicated plugins with Stable Diffusion, masking image areas and playing with millions of parameters, images can now be edited simply by prompting.
Style transfers have also become super easy.
You upload an image and prompt the AI to reproduce it in Ghibli style.
Voilà!
The results aren't bad, but not perfect either, there are still small errors and hallucinations.
By the way, Grok3 can already do these image prompts too.

Exciting! I used to watch studio Ghibli movies when I was a teenager.
It sounds interesting, but I haven't used it before. The AI tools are getting better and better over time.
Ghibli purists will be fuming right now. AI casually copied a style that took decades to refine 🤦 I sure Miyazaki is somewhere shaking his head lol

We can think what we want about it. But artificial intelligence will simply assert itself. It's cheap and fast.
There's a difference between a hand-sewn suit and a ready-made one. But the price of the former is so reasonable that 99% of customers settle for ready-made.

Well... If you're familiar with Perchance, there you can create AI images in a whole variety of styles, including Ghibli. Okay, what it does not do, is let you upload pictures to change their style, at least not that I've seen it...
I loved Studio Ghibli when I was younger. The art style is beautiful but it's also the stories that make them amazing.
The hype might even have a positive side. I think it can draw a lot of people's attention to Ghibli who haven't heard of them before.
I'm not really into AI image creation, but it's cool that advancements in that are are being made so rapidly.
