Was sagt ihr dazu?

Recently, two Spar grocery stores in Switzerland (in Zug and Kreuzlingen) tested Bitcoin payments in supermarkets for the first time.
According to the latest reports, the pilot project is to be extended to all Swiss Spar stores in the future. Oh that's cool.
Technically, Bitcoin Lightning payments work with LNURL technology. All you have to do is scan a QR code and then simply transfer the converted amount in SAT (Satoshis). The payments are processed by DFX Swiss.
There are now numerous videos circulating on the internet demonstrating payments with Bitcoin Lightning in Spar stores.
For example, a customer settles a bill for CHF 1.2 with 1551 SAT, at the current exchange rate, CHF 1.2 would be approximately 1529 SAT.
Lightning fees are also manageable for small amounts. Often only 10 SAT or even free between Wallet of Satoshi accounts.
It would be interesting to see how high the fees are for a Bitcoin payment. Think that DFX will probably also charge a merchant fee for the conversion to fiat. On the other hand, there are also fees for traditional card payments.
What do you think? I'm curious to see if there might be a similar pilot project at Spar Austria. Would be a cool thing.

Richtig coole Sache.
Bitcoin continues to make inroads.

Sehr gute Initiative! 👏🏻
Now that is awesome! I really wish they would roll out a program like that here in the US. Those fees are manageable, and it could move the world closer to being a crypto world. No more fiat, just imagine! It won't be any time soon sadly!
Hmmm
Seems like a win for crypto but I feel it may be a bit expensive because of the extra charges like gas fees for the transactions or are they quivalent to real cash payments?
Really depends on the merchant fees, Bitcoin Lightning itself is quite inexpensive.
Ok
Then that would be cool cos If it wasn’t, it could scare people off. This means there would be more hope for other crypto currencies with time ..I think it’s a great news.

That's great news, more use cases in real life for crypto, the better it is for everyone. We need more countries to follow

I'm ready to shop using HBD, Litecoin and Dogecoin! They're cheaper fees rather than BTC.
This grocers has the right idea but the wrong Crypto in practicality.
Lightning transaction are quite inexpensive, probably they also accept other cryptos through DFX. Have seen somebody even paying in Monero.
That's an amazing acceleration.
sehr cool

That's fantastic since it's a chain that is present in several European countries.
That is a good thing if bitcoin would be accepted as source of payment in stores
it will be amazing if they start to accept bitcoin as a mode of payment.
This is good news for the people living there that they will be able to make upfront payments in Bitcoin and this will increase the sales they have here.
I think it's interesting to see, but I wonder how much they charge in fees too.
