Celebrating Our Special Day at Bonchon
Every special occasion deserves to be meaningful, so this year, Arjay and I spent our special day at Bonchon in SM City Olongapo Central. It wasn’t a grand celebration, but it was full of love, laughter, and the simple joy of being together. What matters most is not where you celebrate, but who you’re with.
When we arrived at SM City Olongapo Central, we felt excited right away. The mall was busy with families, friends, and couples all enjoying their day. Even with the crowd, there was a warm, happy feeling that made our celebration feel even more special.
We chose Bonchon because it’s one of our favorite places to eat. Their Korean-inspired dishes always hit the spot. The welcoming atmosphere and the smell of fresh food made us feel right at home. We looked forward to enjoying both the food and each other’s company.
After sitting down, we looked through the menu, even though we already knew some favorites. Picking what to order was fun since we both wanted to try different dishes and share. We ended up choosing our usual favorites: crispy chicken with Bonchon’s signature sauce, rice meals, and some refreshing drinks.

When our meals arrived, we were excited. The food looked great. The crispy chicken was cooked perfectly, with the crunch and glaze Bonchon is known for. Every bite was delicious. We shared our meals, talked about how good everything tasted, and enjoyed the moment together.
We ordered:
Chicken Wings – Bonchon's chicken wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They are double-fried for extra crunch and coated with flavorful sauces such as Soy Garlic or Spicy, giving them a delicious sweet, savory, or spicy taste
Beef Bulgogi – Bulgogi is made with thinly sliced beef marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, garlic, sugar, sesame oil, and other seasonings. The beef is tender, sweet, and savory, and it is usually served over steamed rice.
Ice Cream – The ice cream is a sweet and refreshing dessert with a smooth, creamy texture. It is a perfect treat to enjoy after eating Bonchon's savory Korean dishes.
More than the food, what made the day special was the time we spent together. We laughed at random stories, teased each other, and took lots of photos to remember the moment. Looking back at those pictures will remind us of both the great food and the happiness we felt that day.
