Last weekend, my family and I went to the local Hero Market. The goal was to buy some household necessities. After a light breakfast in the morning, we all set out and within a short time we reached this famous supermarket in Selangor. The environment of the market was very orderly and clean. A lot of people came to buy their daily necessities. We started shopping with a trolley.

First, we went vegetable and fruit section. We saw fresh potatoes onions garlic cucumbers green chilies and various types of seasonal fruits such mangoes, bananas and papayas. The price potatoes was only 1.99 ringgit per kg, which was quite affordable. We packed several kilograms of potatoes in a polythene bag. A man was carefully picking potatoes next to us. The hustle and bustle of the buyers around, who would buy which product when, was noticeable.

Then we moved on to the fruits. There were rows of mangoes of various colors, light yellow and green. The smell of mangoes told me that they would be quite juicy and sweet. My father and I picked several mangoes together. We also picked some bananas, because it was my younger sister’s favorite fruit. The vegetable section next to it had various vegetables, such as gourd, radish, brinjal, pumpkin, and capsicum. Everything was fresh and neatly arranged.

A little further on, we came across the dairy products section, where various types of cold foods including milk, curd, butter, and cheese were available. We bought a few packets of milk and a packet of cheese. Then we went the spice section. There was ginger, turmeric, cumin coriander other powdered spices. My mother carefully examined each spice and then put our trolley.

While shopping, we were occasionally checking the prices written on the products and also keeping an eye on where the discounts or offers were going on. One of the big advantages of Hero Market is that the price list here is very clear and many products are given special discounts. This makes our shopping easier.

After buying everything, we go to the payment counter. Since there is a state-of-the-art scanning system, the bill for the products is processed quickly. We pay by card and pack everything in our bags. When we leave the market, our hearts are filled with satisfaction, because we were able to buy the necessary things at affordable prices and in good quality.

Overall, the experience of going to this market and shopping was very positive. Fresh and quality products, a neat environment and affordable prices - all in all, it was a beautiful and successful shopping day. We will be interested in coming to this market again and again to have such an experience in the future.
